I have been married to a wonderful man for 17 years.  We have two beautiful children together.  Our daughter, Jenn is 22 and our son, Morgan is 16.  I am originally from Philadelphia, PA but we currently reside in Port Orange, FL, which is near Daytona Beach.

I decided to get the lapband surgery because I wanted to take my life back.  I am tired of having my weight dictate what I do in my life.  I was banded on May 2nd, 2012.  Prior to my surgery date, I had lost 60 pounds!!  I am looking forward to what the future has in store...
