Goddessblaze, A lot of people don't understand. My dad sounds like your mom. He promised me any exercise equipment I wanted to NOT have surgery. Ask almost anyone that has had surgery and they will tell you it's one of the hardest things they have ever done. Once you start losing weight and feeling better people will ask how you lost it and will tell you how good you look. We do this surgery for us and our family, no one else needs to understand, besides.... You have all of us...lol! Jessica

Maybe once September is over, we can continue our September Members in the post op forum. Maybe we can keep up with each other that way and continue to encourage one another. I have to do a ten day full liquid diet. I can only have 2 protein shakes a day. Not looking forward to it. I've already given up soda, sweet tea and gum. I also have to do a bowel prep the day before. Should be an interesting few weeks! Excited and nervous!!! Jessica
