Thank you everyone for the words of encouragement...you're right, the babies will get me through this. I AM strong and I have to be so that I can stand up for them. Well ladies...are you all sitting down? I'm going to be a Grandma - again. I'm not very happy about this because this is the daughter who used during her last pregnancy and has been a horrible mother so far to her son...long story, but she's been clean for about 3 weeks now after a 4 day binge that ended her in the hospital and I called the police. Anyway, I finally talked her into going down to Planned Parenthood to get birth control since her son is now 5 months old and she's been having sex without anything, and lo and behold, she's approx 7 weeks pregnant already. I'm sad, but all I can do is hope for the best. Hope that this happened for a reason, but I'm realistic as well. The first one didn't get her straight, surely the second one may not be any better...irritates me because these are innocent children and CPS and the police have been no help so far. Even when I pick her up and she's so intoxicated that she can't remember where she put her son, they've done shit. Sorry I'm just really upset right now....

Laura those tests only tell you if something MAY be wrong. There are a lot of false positives....You have to decide IF it shows that there may be a chance that something could be wrong, how likely are you to change the course of the pregnancy? Both of my girls opted out of taking the test and I was perfectly ok with that.

Evening Violets! Today was a great day...my best friend had her baby boy today...Mikhail was 8 lbs 4 oz...here's a picture. Also, not sure if I mentioned that my younger daughter, Shannyne and her fiancee' Jon, decided on a date - June 6, 2009 they're getting married. We actually bought her dress and all of the accessories (shoes, slip, bra, tiara and veil)today. Here's a picture (good thing her boyfriend doesn't get on here!) And here's just some random pics of the boys...current pics. They're getting so big!! Just wanted to share!!

Oh heck, in trying to catch up on posts I didn't realize you were all through talking about the election....DO NOT READ MY LAST POST!!! LOL I went for a fil the other day and I was at 3.6, he filled me to 4.0. NEVER AGAIN!!! I was so tight I couldn't even hardly swallow my own saliva. 2 days later I was back in his office for an unfill (thankfully he doesn't charge for these), and he put me back to 3.6 and told me that he wants me there....lol that was horrible!!!! TracyinKS, you'll be fine with your unfill...just put a picture of yourself heavier on your fridge and in your car! :thumbs_up:

I feel the same way....as TracyinKS said, I was also moved to tears by Obama's acceptance speech - but not in a good way. I have never disliked a president as much as I dislike this man....I know it's silly, but I'm reading the "Left Behind" series and I see a scary resemblance to Obama and the anti-christ in this book....scary. I think the next 4 yrs will be worse than they have in a long time....I hope that I'm wrong.

Hi girls! Not much new here...same ol' really. I'm still having issues with my oldest daughter, but I'll tell you what, these little boys are keeping me sane! LOL...they are such a joy and such a wonderful source of entertainment LOL! My youngest daughters mother-in-law just came here from Alaska and she brought Blake the cutest little outfit....it's really too hot for him to wear even on the coldest day but since it's in the 60's here today (for a change, it's been 90's all week!), we decided to take some pictures of him in it....He's SO cute!!! LOL He looks like a little stuffed animal LOL Laura I bet you can't wait to hold your little one!!! I'm still at 200....I was at 199.4 but haven't been able to get back under 200 for the life of me...The wellness coach at work is starting up a walking group so maybe now that it's cooled down I'll get back into exercise mode??? I hope everyone is doing great! Off to a babyshower today and then hubby and I are finishing the sprinklers in our back yard! xoxo

OMG how funny this is brought up because several weeks ago my hubby and I were interviewing for a cleaning person to come in twice a month just to do the deep clean stuff....I swear we interviewed about 15 people and EVERY woman looked like a tweaker!!!!! I wouldn't let them in my house for 5 minutes by themselves. Anyway, we ended up hiring a guy who so far has done a great job....was out of here a little faster than I thought he should be this last time and wasn't as thorough as I wanted him to be, but like my hubby said, next time we'll leave a list of specific things we want him to do before I feel like I need to address it. Anyway, our world is full of tweakers!!!! LOL .... not funny though because my daughter is one of them :cool2:

HI girls - just checking in.... Wanted to share the cutest picture ever...this was Dimitri today And here's Blake with his Grandpa Laura wait til you have your baby...they become the center of your universe! lol I love being a grandma :biggrin:

My younger daughter it was...she ended up with something called SPD (Symphysis Pubic Dysfunction)....not only did her ligaments in her tummy hurt, her coochie ligaments hurt too! She still feels the effects from that and he's 4 months old, however it has gotten better....I've heard the pelvic belts REALLY help. She also bought a body pillow and propped her belly on it at night....

Both of my daughters experienced moderate pelvic/abdominal pain during the first 20 weeks of their pregnancies and their doc said it was the ligaments and uterus growing and stretching...talk to your ob/gyn but it's probably just the joys of being pregnant. :confused:

Yes that's both of the girls....we're working on things. She's been clean for 9 days now, and counting...I notice she's so much more involved with her baby when she's sober...it's sad when she's using she won't even hold him. I'm just keeping an eye on things, not holding my breath, but remaining hopeful.

I'm looking at the pics of the babies that I just posted...god I LOVE those babies...they are such the joy of my life...I can't imagine how I ever lived without them!!! Aren't they beautiful???? Blake is figuring out that he has a voice and he uses it lol...he makes these screeching sounds that sounds like a dinosaur...cracks me up...we call him Baby Zilla or DinoBlake. He tries so hard to talk and talk...never shuts up really LOL - He'll be 4 months on the 18th of this month. Dimitri is learning who everyone is and following those he knows most with his eyes...he's laughing and giggling...he's 11 weeks, but because he was a preemie he should only be 3 weeks as of Friday. He's getting a fat little face finally - not a lot of wrinkles anymore! He's actually got dimples now. :thumbup:

I've been SO busy with the house and babies...I haven't gotten a lot of new pics because I've been so busy LOL! I'll take some more this week...the house is still a total mess...the way things are going it's going to take 2 years to unpack. We had a problem with the dishwasher leaking and it got everything wet...They had to tear out some sheet rock, dry the walls and put a dehumidifier in to absorb the moisture, replace the pad in the living room...etc. This week they'll be tearing out the granite counters in the kitchen to replace the cabinets because my hubby had a fit that they got wet and look a little warped underneath, so they're replacing them. I've never read the book but I see on Amazon that it got 4 1/2 out of 5 stars from over 1400 reviews....Never even heard of it but I may have to read it now! Terri that rosary was gorgeous!!! You are so talented...the only talent that I have is that I type fast LOL. Laura I had the WEIRDEST dreams when I was pregnant...both times actually. Tracy - I feel fat too...I saw a glimpse of 199 and now I'm back at 201. :tt2: Depressing.
