Im also starting to think frustrations an issue too. People come on complaining about stalls... You tell them something that seems to work for yourself and EVERYONE else that tries it - yet they refuse and continue to complain... *smh*

Why most of the vets seem to just disappear after a while... Like most people have already seen and commented on this place is full of negativity in one form or another... and is pretty bland and blah compared to other sites like MFP. Anyone else's thoughts? lol bring on the hate mail.

All of my December sleevers...
Huntingnurse replied to blkdiamond377's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Happy Easter to everyone and today's officially my three month mark! HW: 303 Surgery: 12/31/2012 SW: 297 CW: 248 Total Down: 55lbs (49 since surgery) First month: 31lbs Second month: 11 lbs Third month: 13 lbs During my first month I stalled for about 9 days - Raised my calories from 7-800 up to 900-1100 - I've been losing a steady 2-3 lbs a week with ZERO stalls since. So those of you in a stall or stalling - DO NOT be afraid to increase your calories a little. YOU WILL NOT GAIN. If you do it now instead of once you reach your goal you won't anyway. Once your metabolism gets set to 800 calories a day - once you can hold more and increase your calories - you will gain. I plan on stepping up to 1300 or so here soon. I don't want to shut my body down to a snail's crawl. Hope this helps. -

Yeah you should feel restriction... When I've had bad days the most I can eat is about 3/4 of a McDouble... with bread... or about the same on a Whopper Jr... I couldnt begin to hold a whole larger sandwich. just MAKE yourself stop halfway through... That's what I do when I have a cheat day. Then the fullness kicks in shortly after anyway. -

dont worry you're not alone. I have those feelings all the time. I'm like ok... i'm the lowest I've been in 10 plus years... surely this is going to stop working and i'll be stuck here any minute. -
Ok... Working on a short film script and running into a roadblock. Could really use some funny ideas! Let's pretend: Your gorgeous significant other drops you for your best friend and you want revenge... You wish that (BLANK) would happen to them - yet it must be able to backfire on you... for example: You wish he/she would catch a painful disease... so you get a phone call shortly after from him/her telling you they just found out they have herpes and you need to go get tested asap... or you wish the new couple would have a horrible breakup... and your ex best friend gets smashed by a car when he's crossing the road.. lol you get the jest of it. Twisted with dark humor.. total.. oh crap moments The best ideas could make the script!! If you'd rather PM than post on here that's fine too. In the script the heartbreaker is a girl so if you can put yourself in the perspective of a guy that'd be even better! IF you're idea is used you'll definitely get a special thanks credit on DVD and imdb!

Ok so I've been talking to recruiters and they think it may be waiverable - has anyone had any luck? Does anyone know someone who has had the sleeve and been waivered?

I'm 8 weeks out but I took two tonight for the first time. Worked wonders as usual. I'd say go for it. It's basically just calcium.
