Active Duty but HOLD UP! Theres a scholarship program for CRNA! If you get into a program you take the letter of acceptance and join THEN. They put you reserves and pay ALL school, fees, books, etc plus 2100 a month for a living stipend. You give them 1 year for each year of school they cover. Once you graduate they move you active. You wont get the crna incentive pay those three or two years but once you resign they give a great bonus.

Its a medical disqualifier.. Just get ALL of your surgery records and follow up records and have your MD and surgeon write letters for you and you could probably get a waiver with no other health issues. Also - im going into nurse corps - theyre a little more lenient for nurses

So I didn't really get started good on the app and quit it about 50 pounds ago. Tried W1D1 again last night on an outside track (hills/turns) and actually RAN instead of jogged the run sections and lasted 24 of the 30 minutes. Hopefully next time I can make it through all!! -

Huntingnurse replied to angiefall01's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I wont lie. I did but i didnt. I ate grilled chicken subs from subway and stayed under 1500 cals a day for the last five days then did liquids the day before surgery with the miralax that the doc ordered. I lost 7lbs prior to surgery. -

Ive been doing cardio first then weights, but find myself tiring out pretty quick on the weights... How do you avoid this? I have to get my strength up, but i also have to work up to running if im ever going to pass the Air Force fit test. -

All of my December sleevers...
Huntingnurse replied to blkdiamond377's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
My six month mark was 6/30 - down 85! Averageing about 10lbs a month. Hopefully it keeps up. Only 32lbs until i can apply for Air Force and 38 to my personal goal of 180. Id technically fall into the overweight BMI but i dont care. The BMI chart says for the HIGHEST normal BMI id need to weigh 168. That sounds gross skinny for someone my build. -

Ok... I already know I'll get some but let the flames begin. I did this as a social experiment for the better of our group here who want to know about drinking and how the sleeve effects you (sounds convincing right? . Last night I went out with a buddy of mine - had a beer... two long island iced teas... and a malibu and diet coke. This was all over the span of about 5 hours. Yes I know its empty calories... Yes I know blahblahblah... but I drink RARELY. I must say that yes I did notice it made me drunker faster for sure... no other issues though. No more hung over today than the last time I got drank and got drunk about a year ago... I've actually had a good week of losing too... and on a strange side note - I woke up almost two pounds lighter today. Probably from all of the Water I lost peeing. Needless to say I've been hitting the water hard today to replace it so I'm not expecting to see a loss for a couple of days. I'm SO CLOSE TO the 250's I CAN TASTE IT! Haven't seen them since 2007!!
