cmw10000 replied to Michellefaina's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes my Dr advises to drink one a day at least. The protein is important to you don't lose muscle mass. As you know protein is the one thing that's hard to eat. I try to drink one in the morning first thing for breakfast. -
I Think I'm In The Lose Weight Slowly Zone
cmw10000 replied to Neoteric Verve's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I am only 7 weeks out and looking forward to getting under 200. I started at 258 I have purchased a few new clothes but am trying to refrain so I won't have to much to get rid later. My diet is is much less than yours I'm eating fruit for snacks and only meat and veggies for meals. We went out tonite and had an appietizer of scallops in wine sauce with bruchetta, First bread I have eaten since my surgery It was so good. The scallops went down so easy no overly full feeling that I get with other proteins. All in all very happy with my results. -

Where Are My 5 Weekers?
cmw10000 replied to spadesmcloven's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am about 6 weeks out. No nausiea really. Able to eat want i want now losing about 2.5 lbs a week. Happy with that. Had a couple of lost weeds three and four, doctor said this is normal. I have found that pork is to dense to eat, beef (one of the better cuts) is good if rare, chicken is good but fish is the easiest to eat. I'm sticking with the low carb diet as best as i can it keeps me centered. I can still only eat about 2 oz. Liquid shake once a day. I need to excercise but my job is very demanding its hard to get motivated. -
Weighed today lost another 2 lbs. Went shopping for the first time since surgery. I didn't go crazy just one outfit. But it really raised my spirts. My husband loved the transformation. It gave me the boost I needed. Had a pity party the other day not good. It is such a process to get through.

Had the sleeve on Feb. 27, 2012 the surgery went well,(with the exception of the anasteisa). I, ve lost 20 lbs and am learning when to eat and how much. Very little nausia thank goodness. That being said I have had some really crazy mood swings, It's all in my head but I feel like I am missing out on things. I don't enjoy eating it's like a chore now what can I eat how much can I eat. Not to mention who is watching me eat. Has anyone else felt this way?

cmw10000 commented on Sleevie WonderLand's blog entry in KayyyBeee's Blog
You are an inspiration... I can't wait to get where you are at. -
I am 6 weeks post and have lost 15 lbs with minimum exercise my insision was not healing. You will lose the weight. If excercise alone would have worked you would not have needed the surgery. It is not a quick fix.
