Hi! I was sleeved July 18th.....started at 254 lbs and I am now 217.... So I'm down 37lbs.....I was in a stall for approx 4 weeks but finally started loosing again :-)

Hi Truthfylly---For me it was painful...however I was given dilaudid so that def eased the pain...I was up walking only a couple of hours post surgery.. I was super nauseous and was vomiting a lil bit too....gaspain was my biggest issue but I kept walking....I didn't even use any pain med after I was d/c'd from the hosp....it gets BETTER everyday. Now looking back I would do it all over again! Soooo worth everything! It doesn't mean that you will go thru all this...everyone has a different experience...I was sleeved on July 18th....started at 254 lbs and now weigh 217....I feel better than ever! Don't be nervous about your surgery----it's gonna change your life to the BETTER!!! Good luck to you and keep us posted! :-)

I was sleeved on July 18th....Starting weight: 254lbs, 5"2........I'm now 224 lbs so I'm down 30lbs but I've been in a stall for almost 3 weeks!! It's frustrating!!! Anyways I hope the scale will start moving again sooon!! Besides that my experience so far has been life changing. It was rough in the beginning but I would do it all over again... It is soooo worth it! I cannot waiiit to get below 200.....it's been sooo many years since I've seen those numbers lol....anyways--tell me your story :-) Good luck to everyone! Xoxo

Hi! I'm able to put socks on and tie my shoes without a struggle! And I have ankles now!!!! ) Little things that means soo much! :-) Keep up the good work y'all <3

Hi Everyone :-) I'm new here. It's soo encouraging to read everyone's success stories. I just got my surgery date and will be sleeved on July 18th. YaaaY! Lol I'm soo excited. I have a question for my female sleevers....is it true that you become more fertile after the surgery (after loosing weight).....(so my surgeon says) Part of the reason I want to do this surgery is to be at a healthy weight (right now I'm 250lbs at 5'2) and also have babies.....have never been pregnant and it was actually my OB-GYN who referred me for barriatic consult. So is there anyone out there who's been trying to get pregnant before having the sleeve and could not but was able to after? Curious to know if anyone is in the same boat as me?
