Hi everyone, I had my surgery on the 07/27/2012, so this is my third week post-op. I'm feeling fine, been going to work and been walking around and stuff but I was wondering when I can start going to gym? How long before I can do a fitness class or lift weights etc? And advice is highly appreciative. Thanks

Hi everyone, I was banded last Friday 07/27/12. I'm in the liquid phase. I don't have a proper scale at home so went to the gym to weigh myself. I knew I lost weight since the surgery, but never imagined losing 10 lbs in my first week. I am just shocked, thought I'd share it with u guys

Thanks for all the positive comments. I agree, water or fat, I am so motivated right now. 1-2lbs per week is fine by me, but I think having such a big first week is very motivating. I can't wait to start gym

Was banded on Friday 07/27. The surgery went really well. I am in a bit of pain but it is bearable. I'm not feeling hungry at all, and have hardly had anything. I am trying my best to get Water in as I know I have to stay hydrated. I'm not sure exactly how I'm supposed to feel in terms of restriction?

Hey guys, I'm now 6 days post-op, doing well, healing fast, have been feeling hungry though. Trying to drink lots of water. Can't wait for this liquid phase to be over! I've been craving the craziest things, what I would give for a slice of toast right about now. I been doing good around food and have been sticking to liquids despite cooking for my husband everyday. Hope you guys are all doing well also

Hi everyone. I am all the way in South Africa. I have found so much comfort from these forums in the build up to my surgery. I am still a bit nervous and anxious about the post op pain. We don't get gasx strips here as far as I know. Any last minute advice would be great. Thanks.

Congrats! I get banded July 27th. A bit nervous. I have to do a green diet but only 3 days prior to surgery. All the best with your pre-op diet
