Thanks for the kind words! I work nights so my schedule is all messed up, I will be having a shake before work then at work eat my lean cuisine and snack and breakfast shake when I get home. I think I've already started mourning, lol...I cleaned out my fridge & shelves and I'm having my last Cherry Coke Zero's, Good Luck to you to, keep me updated!

Hello, I start PreOp on Tuesday and just realized I had no information on when to stop, if I stop taking my vitamins before my surgery on July 17th...Anyone know?

Hello, Would appreciate any advice/suggestions on brand of liquid mulit-vitamin, Iron, Calcium, melatonin, tylenol that doesn't taste horrible and best places to buy in person or online? Starting my pre-surgery preparation list, Thank you!

Nice to meet you Ashley, I was actually referred by my current Dr. to you're Dr. if I wanted to travel North instead of South. But I have family in Champaign & go there so much that I figured this was a better choice for me. I am trying to prepare for my surgery but not easy since my pre-op apt isn't til July 5th less tan 2 weeks before my surgery date. Thankfully they gave me some info about the diet so I'm more prepared. Just gotta find the money to start buying what's necessary. Still researching liquid Vitamins, need a multi-Vitamin, Calcium, Iron and melatonin. I work nights & sleep days. Any advice or suggestions welcomed! Thanks!

I checked them out but they only have a few liquid Vitamins and look expensive but I'm not really sure how much these things run regularly anyways so Thank you for sharing!

I just called BCBS of IL to see if they received my information, only to find out that I have been Approved!! YAY!! I have my pre-op appointment on July 5th & my surgery is July 17th, as of right now....I'm soo very excited, I'm ready for a new me!!

My Dr's office faxed over my paperwork on Friday and when I called BCBS on Tuesday they had already approved it!

As of right now, July 17th is my surgery date!

How long have you been waiting? It will be 2 weeks tomorrow since my 3 in 1 appointment, they told me 2-3 weeks for Psych Eval signed off then information to be submitted to insurance...I'm dying over here!! lol

Ahhh I see, our Dr. is a PPO for me so if it ends up costing too much, I might have to go to the only general surgeon that does lap bands under my insurance. Which is what I was trying Not to do...but we will see in the next few weeks!

I'm currently waiting approval & have BCBS of IL too...I was told that the 6 month pre op diet is no longer inforced. I'm going to the Illinois Bariatric Center and it actually says it on their site, that it's easier to get approval in IL now. There is also a post with many responses in the Insurance section about BCBS of IL if you wanna check it out!

Wow, you had your 3 in 1 visit then got banded 2 weeks later, I want your insurance!!! Tell me your secret! lol I had my 3 in 1 on May 22 and just waiting for the Psych Eval to be signed off on & the paperwork to be send it, they said it will take 2-3 weeks just for it to be signed off on before sent for approval, Ughhh

I did the same thing, go to settings then your signature then when you see your tickers in the box, click on the ones you want to delete and press delete...I'm glad I wasn't the only one!
