Well i have my first Dr visit after being banded tomorrow. Not sure what to expect, but i should be be on soft foods Wed also. i may wait until after the Dr visit to make sure everything is good. I was banded May 11th. i think im doing good so far.

Ok, so i start puree foods in a couple of days. i wanted to see what any of yall out there did to help with this phase. what kind of creative foods did you eat? my dr said anything i put into a blender and get pureed would be ok, but i want some good ideas. thanks all.

what kind of chewable multi vitamin with iron should i get??

Thanks for the info Ready, but i think i am going to end up going with the ones the DRs have at the office.I had previously checked about liquid, and my nutritionist stated she did not recommend liquid, due to it losing its potency. Apparently just sitting on the shelf, it can lose some of the potency, so you arent actually getting the amount on the labels. Who knew?? The ones at the office comes in crystal form so i can add it to water. That should be easier to swallow. ^_~

Lol, i know what you mean. He is pretty quick and to the point with me, but to be honest i kind of like that. I dont really need all the jibber jabber. I want to know whats going to happen, what i need to do, and how it affects me. I did have a lot of shoulder pain, but it has been better especially this morning. The gas was pretty bad also, but same thing, I am doing much much better this morning.

So i am still on liquid and have started to dispise my shakes. any idea on spicing them up? i dread when i have to drink them. i have strawberry flavor and a bannanna flavor. i do have sf pudding powders at home. any ideas?

so i just dl this app yesterday, and already love it. wish i had found it sooner. i have my surgery on may 11. i think im ready. i already put it off once which i regret, so i am 100% having my surgery... just a little nervous is all. ps. anykne know how to change my profile picture? i can seem to figure it out.

i feel the exact same way. man is it killer. i just had my lb surgery on friday, and i have a while to go before i am good again, i am excited about the future. but for now, ouch.

hope everything gets better. i was vomiting my first day home, but after the liquid meds, i got better. wish you luck.

i think my dr sells some, i may just get them from there on Monday. btw, my shoulders are killing me.

I just got banded this morning. ugh, i still feel nautious even with sf popsicles. the pain has started to kick in a little while ago. yay meds. i did vomit a little earlier, and it was a little bloody. not a large amount, but like as if i spit it out. is that normal or should i freak out now? I DID have a hernia repair while being banded also.

thanks kbliss. yea, i went to the grocery store with the gf today. whew, too much walking, but i want to be active and not just lounging. i didnt over exert myself, just kept a fairly slow pace.

thanks daisy. yea im feeling much better today with nausea, but the pain... i went for a small walk this morning. it wasnt bad. lots of sf popsicles. the jello doesnt sit well with me just yet, but i was able to drink 4oz of my shake. yay.

yes my surgery was in and out. i called the dr and he gave me a prescription for nausea. he said that should pass and i need not worry. i am in a little more pain today than yesterday but damn excited.

wow reading this poat was like having you read my mind. love it. i was wondering if they even made sugar free cake. i juat had my surgery yesterday, and my bd is in june. id love to have cake, but want to pass on all the sugars. im gkad to know their is a sf option for cake and frosting.
