    Inner Thighs - Ick!

I have this problem even after I'm a year and a half post surgery and lost 110 lbs. it's not as bad as it used to be but still aggravating. I am just reading up on this and gonna try something as well as maybe going to a dermatologist soon. I am still having issues with ingrown hairs and I am working on those as well. Let me know how these work if anyone has tried it. Keep up the good work y'all!

    I'm Liking Myself Again!

You are doing awesome! Keep it up! Just wanted to tell you even tho you don't see it on the scale doesn't mean it's not working. I would always see it on my clothes then on the scale. I'm a year out and haven't lost anything since dec. but I've gone down 3 sizes. Just remember your body may be redistributing the weight. Good luck!

New To Site/7 Months Post Op

I've heard of a few people in my area that have been sleeved then had children. From what I hear the majority of them only gained 15-20lbs and was able to lose it quickly. But you do have to watch the nutrition. I am a year out and will be looking into kids soon so we shall see.

Are There Any Single Sleevers Out There..

Hey all, I'm Christy, 28 from Louisiana sleeved on 4/4/11 and newly single. So it's been a year and I've lost a whole person. I deff get hit on all the time. I was married for 4 years ( he was with me when I was big) but it didn't work out. The surgery has changed me and the attention is a lot of fun. I've heard those "your cute for a big girl" comments all my life. I decided to have fun with the attention and it can be a lil over whelming. Good luck all! Glad this is here!

    Need Honest Answers

It been a year so far and i had that moment in the first few weeks of what did I do when you realize all the things you have to keep up with and can't eat. I am really glad I had the surgery. I went from a 24 to a 10 and have lost 105lbs. My only regret is while losing I almost lost myself and became a lil vain. Honestly this has disrupted my life and I became someone I was not and did somethings i would never do. Now im paying for them. I'm not gonna get into the details but your eating habbits and addictions can transfer into alcohol or attention like they did for me. Message me if you want more details but I still wouldn't have changed my decision for surgery. I thought I did all my homework but forgot to look at the emotional after effects of the surgery. Good luck.
  8. Yes stay on shakes. I'm a lil over a year out and still do them. I use Optim nutrition from GNC and mix flavors to make it taste better. I also double up on scoops to get like 50g of protein in 8 oz. I use skim milk with mine too. Even if it takes you all say to drink do it! Also crab sticks are awesome. Plus in the first few stages I would grill chicken breast purée it and put a lil quacamole with it. So good and you get some protein in. Te others are right about mashed potatoes. But I know how you feel bc I did eat some in the beginning. If you do limit your self to maybe once a week. That could be the reason your seeing such slow loss. I lost about 20 a month for the first few months. Now I've been the same weight since dec but I have gone down 3 pants sizes so keep un mind your body maybe redistributing your weight. I have always been like that. I would see it in my clothes then see it on the scale. Good luck!

    Constipation

I go like once a week. It's crazy bc before surgery I pretty much had loose stools every day. Now it's once a week. I take Miralax in water or juice twice a week. I'm a year out and if I forget about it, it gets really bad. I tried all the benefiber stuff but didn't like it. Like others said exercise and liquids help a lot. Good luck!

How Do U Avoid Hair Loss?

I'm a year out. I've done all the requirements and talked to everyone on different forums. There is no way around hairloss. You can decrease it but you will still have hairloss. It will grow back tho! Keep on your bioten, protein and vitamins.
