    17 Days Out...

    Thank you for those words! I'm doing good not to compare but sometimes it's hard! Ya know though , when I begin to get discouraged I think how lucky I am n then things begin to look up! I'm excited! I'm happy bout my new lil sleeve! At doctors appointment I was 20 lbs down in 18 days! Guess I can't complain that bad! R u on my fitness pal?
  5. M 17 days post op! From previous posts I stated I was at a standstill and a little discouraged, I haven't got on the scale but once in 4 days but man it's been hard! Still no lbs down but I'm bring patient! You know I see a lot of patients have suffered from nausea and I haven't got sick one time! It seems most do - Im not complaining I just wondered what was different - why they did ? Not eating right? Too much?? Not enough? Then... I don't want to stretch my stomach out! I am only eating 400-540 calories a day and 50 oz of water - could you? I don't want too!

    Why is there weight gained ? I'm not understanding? I barely eat! Example today protein shake breakfast salmon for lunch 3 bites nibbled on salmon for dinner theme 2 bites of spam & 62 oz of water what's wrong with that
  14. Was sleeves on 6.18.12 and only 18 lbs lost! Is that normal? Shouldn't I be loosing more! Can someone tell me how their diets are going? What do they consist of? I am not sure I'm doing things right!

    Oh wow! I needed to hear that! I'm not going to lie and say I've not been discouraged because I have - don't know why it's not just falling off! I've done good today I've not weighed at all! Ty for your advice and words! Glad your okay! How did u find out you had a leak?

    @ Star- thanks for the encouragement and thoughts - I guess your right - weights never dropped that much before! I just moved out of liquids I'm able to incorporate flakes fish and puréed meats in and eggs with cheese. Phase II is where I am! I did have some peanut butter yesterday too just 2 oz all day! I guess I do need to drink more yesterday was 1st day I was able to get 40 oz of liquids in which is amazing - n 29 g of protein ! Hopefully I will keep up with those like I should

    Well I have heard the heavier you are the quicker you will loose - I don't know how true that is but a friend of mine was 330 and now 4 months later is 79 lbs down! I was 248 morning of surgery an now am 230 . I just thought it would come faster I thought 25-30 lbs 1st month is an average for sleevers . I haven't lost in 4 days ( which there are some factors - where miralaX is needed) so that maybe triggering the standstill .

I'm close to you as far as days are concerned today is day 13 for me and honestly I am suppose to still be on liquids which I am, however I have ate some liquid mash potatoes and kidney beans mushed up! All it's caused me is problems (constipation) so follow what your surgeon has advised, he knows what's best ! I have tried to test the waters and it's not worth it until he allows you to move forward!

    Why Am I Not Losing Weight?

    I'm 12 days out and I've lost 16.5. I went in weighing 253 and I'm now 236.5! I know I shouldn't be frustrated but the last 3 days the scale has stayed the same! I'm not to the puréed state yet but I know for sure I'm not getting all the liquids I need in - could that play a factor I don't know! You've lost 9 lbs in 9 days that's great! Rejoice in your success it will all work we jut have to be patient! U can do it
