Guess which one I am this is my motivator..taken 1 month ago! It's HORRIBLE!

I think right now, since I've just started this journey, weighing myself daily might help!! Because as you said if I wake up and gained a lb now I'm ganna wanna exercise harder to not let that happen again, it would be great for motivation..but what I'm worried about is after I'm banded, have dropped lots of lbs and almost to my goal (140) and those last few lbs arnt coming off, I think then would be the time to not weigh myself daily cause it would upset me if I gained when I'm so close to my goal...does that make sense? I think it would make me crazy! I just don't want to be Regina ( rachel mcadams) from Mean Girls and be skinny beautiful and want to lose 3 lbs!!!! Also, your AWESOME for making a spread sheet!! That's a great idea!!

I had gallbladder removed Saturday and I couldn't pee! Or burp or toot! Walking helped a lot!! Hard, but so worth it. I also took dulcolax sunday night, that helped me go #2 immediately Tuesday morning and it made me feel better, much better.

Btw.. I just read a thread on all the people getting banded in July.. I STARTED BAWLING!! Jealous but happy for all of them at the same time!!

I feel your pain. I can't wait for next summer when (hopefully) ill be down lbs!! You can do it! Just think of how good it feels to look healthy! I'm not even banded yet!! Hehe keep it up!!!

Had my gallbladder out on sat and doc put me on nothing but protein shakes for a month! I'm going insane!! I'm on the Atkins advantage shakes and I can't stand them!! This is by far the hardest thing I've ever had to do! I dream about food, I crave food! Am I the only one!? Has anyone else been put on protein shakes for 1 month? The reason he's doing this is because I have to much fat under my skin for even the port! I understand it's important, but MY GOD IT'S HARD! I've already dropped 7 lbs in 4 days, and that makes me so happy, but HELP! I need encouragement! I have 27 more days of these things!!!

Im ganna try the cocoa powder!! That will probably help A LOT! I hope Dr gives me the clear for other liquids, like soup and jell-o but for now it's protein shakes LONGEST MONTH OF MY LIFE! I know the end results will be amazing, but I want meat! Bread! Potatoes! Lol gatta get my SKINNY thinking going!

Dr Khalil at ambulatory care in San Diego..I'm not sure if he just does fills for non patients but it's worth a try..he's a great doc

I just got my gallbladder removed yesterday, holy hell! I panicked in the recovery room because it was my first ever surgery. The anesthesiologist had to give me a shot to calm me down. I've never been in more pain! I have 4 incisions, and a HUGE bruise on my belly from the blood thinner shot...then my doctor put me immediately on my liquid diet and I'll be banded in a month! If it's this painful idk what I'll do!! Anyone else been they this surgery then a month later an other surgery! I'm happy to be banded, but I'm such a baby!!

My doctor said I'd have a higher chance of infection, if I did both at once...I didn't have any gallbladder pain but a huge stone, so they just decided to take it out so ur wouldn't give me problems after I got banded..did you have yours done at the same time??

Ive only been on this journey for 1 mobth. Ive seen my doctor once, had to meet with a nutritionist and psychologist. I also had to do a sleep apnea test @ 2 weeks ago. I got a call yesterday from the doctor saying I do have sleep apnea. I have to go back tommoro night and do an other sleep study to see which machine I will need. Im upset because if my insurence approves my surgery, and i lose my weifht,I'll lose the sleep apnea...right? If anyone is in the same boat or could give me advise I would much appreciate it. I'm only 23 and have to sleep with a machine?!

My 'ah ha' moment was when I realized I'm only 23 and have to shop in the women's section!

I have not been banded yet, but I'm going thru the process and only my parents, husband, 2 best friends and sister know. That's all that need to know. I'm afraid eveyone will criticize me about it, and especially since I'm not approved yet I don't want eveyone to know and then think I backed out if I don't get approved. It's just a hassle, and I plan on lying and saying I did it all by myself when I do lose the weight lol

Oh my god! I've never been under anesthesia! I'm nervous as hell and now I have something else to worry about!! I enjoyed sleeping with the machine at the sleep study, I slept well but now I hope I won't be denied surgery.

Apparently my insurence has covered everything so far. I'm doing an other study tonight to see which machine I will need
