Why not just go back to the doctor to get another fill to try and take you past your plateau? To me that would beat wearing adult diapers all day! LOL

I was released the same day...I suppose every hospital is different. It depends when they are finished checking up on you Good luck!

hazel-you seem like you're at the same point as I am! I feel awesome....even now compared to this morning I can tell a big difference. I'm getting up and sitting down without needing to hold something now! Better than the last few days...lol

I'm fearing the PBing too...but if you watch your intake, there's no reason you should PB. Guess time will tell!

I started out taking tiny, tiny sips. I'm currently taking a little bit more than teaspoon full of sips. Is that too much? Too little? Since I started with bigger sips, the burping went away.

Everywhere I've read, they suggest at least 60g of protein a day. My doctor recommends 65-75 grams a day! Hope that helps!

LOL I wanted "unleashing the skinny bitch" but it wouldn't fit! I called my nurse about this litttle pain I get every once in awhile...apparently I'm drinking too fast/too big of gulps. Back to sipping I go!

I probably should have taken an extra day off...but I wanted to be here for the kids...they started our State Testing today. I'm also ready to get rid of this weight...I've been waiting since March for this day! I figure, the faster I recover, the faster I'll be able to do things!

I'm feeling OK...I had surgery the same day as you and your sister. I'm still in pain, my port incision hurts the most. I try to get up and walk, walk, walk as much as I can. Even if it's up and down the rows here at school (I'm a teacher). I'm doing okay with drinking my liquids...not sure how to help you with that! Maybe someone else has some tips

I'm 2 days post-op and am burping like crazy....I know we're expected to have gas. I just thought burping wasn't such a good thing. Here's me...freaking out that maybe my band is messed up or something already lol

Hey all...I'm back and finally banded! Dr. Stanish is wonderful...I have nothing but nice things to say about him and his entire staff at the WLS and Broadway Methodist. I'm well on my way to the loser's bunch!!

Heck yeah girl! I'm doing it...burping air like crazy LOL But it's all going to be worth it in the end! I'm actually down to 295 as of this morning! I am in awe of the drop off since I started the entire journey at 330! The past 3 weeks alone, I've lost 20 pounds! Totally insane... And thank you for the compliment! Girl, I saw your new picture on Myspace...you look amazing!!! Keep up the awesome work girl! You're my inspiration! Especially with the biking! I need to get back into that!

What is the official definition of PBing? I guess I can go google that now! LOL
