I haven't been banded yet my date is September 6th but I am a toker & I don't get munchies at all so I think it depends on the person. I don't smoke nearly as much as I use to because I am a mom now and only smoke when I'm away from her but even when I did smoke everyday I did not get the munchies

I am a little nervous but I'm more excited to start this new chapter. I know I'm gong to succeed ! You will too !

I saw this amazing juicer that Montel Williams advertised! it's like 200 dollars but I plan on investing in it. it's awesome and does not take away the nutritional value it even makes hot veggie soup ! I'll have to look up the name of it because I can't remember it I'll let you know when I find it.

Yesterday my boyfriend & I took my daughter to the zoo. It was her first time. We had a great time but about an hour into the trip I was so tired, my knees hurt, my back hurt, my feet were killing me, and I was so out of breath. I was disgusted with myself. My surgery is September 6th & I can wait !! I have lost some weight during these last few months which I am proud of but yesterday really made me feel bad. I want to be able to keep up with my daughter for future trips.

I have tried many and I hate them lol I ordered unjury because I heard the best things about that brand. I'm still waiting for it to come but Alot of people say they enjoy it

You can't compare yourself to others. Everyone is different. The preop diet isn't for losing weight anyway its to shrink your liver. So don't get discourage just keep doing what your doing. Good luck.

I'm getting banded sept 6th! I do have a pre op diet . I actually start it while I'm on vacation lol

Mine will be 8 months when I'm banded and shes such a mommys girl! it's going to be hard not to hold her for a few days

I am in the pre-op stage. I just revelry finished all the testing and I'm scheduled for survey September 6th. I have shared my getting banded with everyone. Today a coworker came up to me and said "You look great your losing weight" and I thanked her. I haven't seen her in a while so I told her that I was getting banded. She gave me the most horrid look and pretty much told me I am going to die. Why can't people just be happy for us ? This is my life I don't need someone telling me all the horror stories. I pretty much told her to F**k off As nicely as I could.

Luckily I have a great support system in my home life. My boyfriend supports me and so does my family. My best friend was banded 2 years ago. I'm actually getting transferred to a different hospital for my dream job (yay). I'm not sure if I am going to tell any of my new coworkers . I don't really care what any one else thinks but I also don't feel like hearing any bs

I've seen Alot of "know it all" comments. I've also seen people who come off as if they are so perfect and never make a mistake. It really burns me up when I see it.

I love reading your post and I think you should post anywhere you want. there are a few people who this board who feel they can do no wrong and make rude comments. not sure if anyone else notices but I do and i dont get the point of it . its a message board i wonder if they speak to people in thier real life that way. anyway please keep posting I could use the inspiration
