I was banded may 1 of this year...im only down 10 pounds...ive gotten 7 fills and one unfill..i was so tight i couldnt even drink water....since that unfill last month ...she only took out about a half a cc....i have eaten non stop...i eat until im miserable!! I dont think i need a fill, i just need to get my.cravings.under control....also i have a friend whose band..after 2 yrs..has eroded and she became very very sick and is having it removed tomorrow....i dont want that to happen to me. I read that over eating with the band can cause that. Please give me some advice on how to eat...it's like ive lost all focus ...thank you all so much!

Hey fellow bandsters..i hope you all are well!! This is mybproblem...we are on vacation..i havent eaten much because anytime i eat or.drink i have to run to the bathroom with diarreaha.and my tummy is bloated qnd big..i got a fill a.week before we left and was doing grea...t..i have 8ccs in my band which holds 14 ccs..i was banded may 1st. And have lost around 12 pounds.....i just took some pepto...this has been happening for 3 days...any advice??

Im sooooo sorry you've had a bad experience!! To everyone else..im glad you are all happy with dr mally and dr fearing. So far they have been wonderful to me...especially their nurses...always call me back with an ans to my questions...and Linda ..front desk..is awesome too!! I have mybfirst fill june 13th and i just can't wait!!! I am scheduled for a fill every 2 weeks for 6 weeks....im just sooo ready to lose some weight!!! Happy day everyone!!! Xoxo ashley

Ok..totally freaking out here....all of a sudden i can eat anything and everything!!! Last night i ate an ENTIRE thin crust medium veggie pizza from dominoes...i am craving everything carbs...i dont get my first fill until june 13....any advice?????

Wow!! This is just what i needed to hear....i am getting depressed too as i am 3weeks post op and feel like eating eberything in sight. And have been!!! Im soooo ready for my fill but now i see that i still have to fight the cravings and the urge to over eat....i love this support forum and i sincerely wish all of us great success on this journey!!!!! I am sooooo sorry!!! I am experiencing horrible pain in mybleft ribs...its just awful...i know its the gas but it sure feels like broken ribs...i cant even take deep breaths....just taking lots of simethicone and walking!!! Please let us know when you are feeling better..i will pray for you and myself. Lol..xoxo

I hope everyone is doing well!! I have to say that after feeling great..i am MISERABLE now...I am 10 days post op and habing a lot of trouble with digestion... My drs nurse said ghat it isbpart of the healing process for some patients and for me to to go ahead and advance my diet to include some fish amd soft steamed veggies and to try a product called Phayzime....amd of course to walk walk walk...and no dairy....jist walked 30 mins on treadmill....trying to pass gas ..lol..... Hope it all helps!! I hate this big, hard distended belly!! Xoxo

I will up my walking and do the other things suggested....i just hate this feeling because i actually have felt great since right after surgery....thought i had escaped the painful gas stage ...guess it just hit me later... Cant wait til the healing stage is over...nest of luck everyone!!! Xoxo

Hey everyone. :-). Ok..i have been following my drs instructions to the letter...i am on liquids and pureed food of today...so far i mainly drink 2 protein shakes with 27 g of protein each..i use body fortress from walmart...i add 1/4 banana....plus sugar free jello and now today some cream of rice....my problem is that my tummy looks like a basketball...im very bloated...still have very loose bms...i feel soooo bloated and uncomfortable..plus the scalr says ive gained 4 pounds after losing 16... Any advice??? Xoxo
