    Has anyone ever not had a healthy small enough liver? I mean do the even know how far its shrunk? Im sticking to my diet as best i can i just didnt know if anyone was turned down for their liver wasnt small enough? Just a curious question?

    Its so confusing with all the different rules! Thar is y i asked in the first place my friend n mother never had a preop diet yet i do i was confused about how its for the liver! Crazy thing is i have a diff doc then them two but they are from the same office!

    I cant seem to get over to non reversible part! Any number of things life trows at you could result in an unfill or reversible situation! I have an aunt who had the bypass which isnt the same but close and is having problems lacking vitamins and is always sick! She went from a 24 size to a zero! Too much too quick! My opinion is better safe than sorry and the band is safer!

    Woohoo! Im going in june 7 th also a lil a lil more than a week ugh its hard on this diet but im trying to work tru it beat of luck to you on your journey!

    I feel so frustrated im so sick to my stomach on this diet and i keep cheating! Im supposed to b on two shakes and 1 meal a day and ill take a bite of something around 2-3 that seems to b the hardest part of my day! Its very discouraging!

    They say drink drink drink! I have to consume 3 litters of water a day will this b easily accomplished after surgery? You see i have a kidney disease and require lots of water! Some say u dehydrate so quick! Any advice or experiences?

    Lol oh heavens no its not that extreme im more worried after healed if its always gonna b hard to take on fluids? Plus im on lasiks which i plan to stop with dr consent for a month so i can retain as much as possible!

    Im a big drinker when i eat so i was curious aswell i have to drink lots of water for my kidneys! Im nervous about this as well!

    I feel the band is a healthier choice as if need ur fluid can b taken out for certain situation! Both my mother and aunt have lost over 100 lbs with the band! Its all willpower! Im personaly against the bypass for iv seen first hand the out come of it both good and bad! I hope this helps any! The band is great if you learn to use it properly and keep ip with it lol!

    Iv been awaiting approval for over a month now so i called my surgeons office today to see whats up. Apparently they didnt submit my case to insurance till 1:30 today! As mad as i was i broke and cried. When i pulled myself together i said oh well whats a couple more weeks right? At 3:43 i got a call saying iv been APPROVED! SO I CRIED SOME MORE LOL!!! tomorrow i start a two week slim fast diet and learn of my surgery date!!! YAY!!!!,

    Yes today i started slim fast not too bad shake for lunch ate a late lunch and im guessing a shake around 8 not what i thought id b but im sure itll get worse!
