Yes, It will be here and over with before you know it! Hang in there and just remember that hormones and carb withdrawls can do weird things to your body! You may also expect the same afterwards because those hormones are stored in the fat you'll be shedding. Just take a deep breath and remember it's not you....it's your hormones and you'll be just fine!

Yes, I was the same exact way! I could take your head off in one swipe!!! Wasn't sure I was making the right choice, was the heaviest I've ever been, was ashamed to be seen in public, snapped off everyone's heads including family! It's common.....It;s your nerves! This will be the best choice you'll ever make....TRUST ME!!! Just warn everyone that your a little on the grouchy side and to stay outa your way! You'll be fine!!! 21 pounds gone in just over 2 weeks!

Hell no! The fat girl has to go!!! I wanna be healthy again.....I wanna be cute again....I wanna be able to walk through the airport with luggage in hand and not be winded to the point of sitting down to rest! If I go down.....I'll go down fighting every inch!

We have always LOVED to cook, and we entertain often! This means I STILL end up cooking and miss being able to fill up my plate with all that yumminess! We;ve never been junk food eaters! Always good grilled meat and a couple fantastic sides with fruit....maybe a cobbler or cookies on rare occation. This past weekend I made a HUGE bowl of potatoe salad, grilled veggies straight out of our garden, Butternut squash grilled with butter spray, cinnimon and sugar, and more cantalope and watermellon from out garden. The grill was packed with burgers, pork, and stuffed grilled chicken! I sat down with 1 spoon of grilled squash and 2 bites of chicken. I didn't even taste my potatoe salad and thought I was going to pop! I think I miss the social connection of filling my plate and enjoying with the friends.....it's so weird! Just can't eat...not really interested!

Let me clarify, I have never been a huge belcher! A ladylike burp here or there was no big deal especially drinking something like a coke or a beer. NOW, I’m wondering if the Doctor not only took out my stomach but if he removed my ability to burp as well??? I have severe restriction and gas buildup after the slightest bit of food or even a sip or two of water. I take OTC Prilosec every day faithfully. I’m almost 3 weeks post-op. haven’t had a gas x strip in a while because I havent had the gas pains from surgery in a long time. Thinking I may try those again though. Other than that I feel great! I walk 2 miles a day and have no problems what-so-ever! My only problem is I can’t get any relief from a burp…..my burper is broken!!! Anyone else have this problem or offer any advice?

DO YOU GUYS EVER DO THE GURGLE STUFF IN THE BACK OF YOUR THROAT? THATS WHAT I DO ALL THE TIME. CAN BE EMBARRASSING IF OUT IN PUBLIC!

Let me start by saying WOW…..92# in 4 months? Incredible and congrats!!! Yep, I’ve lost it….I can no longer burp and it drives me up the wall! If I try to force the burp I’ll vomit! Tried the gas x strips today and no relief. I take it this will be one of those nasty side effects of being a skinny minni….GUESS I’LL JUST HAVE TO ACCEPT! Let

I agree. You should contact Dr. Kelly’s office directly and report their coordinators actions immediately! Coordinators are there to make your experience as easy and painless as possible, not to put doubt and worry in your head! Sounds a little like a begrudged coordinator to me and she’s trying to get even by badmouthing! I CAN TELL YOU FIRST HAND FROM EXPERIENCE that I was sleeved at Jerusalem Hospital by Dr. Almanza on May 31st and would recommend them to EVERYONE! Took excellent care of me and the 8 other ladies there at the time! I have had no problems or regrets at all! THANKS Dr. Almanza and Dr. Bendecourt! I loved you guys!!!

LADIES.....never fear....this is what plastic surgery is for!!! That way they should be good till your 90+ years old!!!

You'll need a couple changes of cloths because you travel back and forth daily to the Clinic for IV and meds. You dont wanna make that journyey in your night gown

I live in Houston BUT I'm from Tennessee....only about 45 miles from the Dragon!!! We are hoping to make a trip up there sometime ....maybe next year???

Had my surgery in Mexico yesterday. Everything went good. Yaaaaa.....I'm on the losers bench! Now, if this gas will just go away I'll be good! headed back home Sunday.

Hey chicka! YES, bring 2 packs of Gasex strips. You'll need them! I havent used my robe but once since I'm staying at the Hotel. Never used my houseshoes either. We stayed at the Hampton Inn on Pacific Dr in San Diego. You can walk down to the bay and hang a right for fantastic shopping (including a Harly Shop). We toured the USS Midway aircraft carrier and had a blast! Think I was mistaken....I'm only 1 day out. We leave Mexico on Sunday to head back to Texas. Really ready for this dang gas to go away!!!
