Got a 2.6 ml fill yesterday!!!!!WHOA! I was hungry after the 7th day of my second fill, only lost 2 lbs,and didnt have good restriction at all! somehow I dont think that will be the case this time. I had a lot of personal bad junk going on in my life too, but im on the mend, and ready to get back at it. My surgeon was so sweet about it all. I just knew he was gonna have my head. But he didnt. Love that guy!

Yesterday afternoonn was unpleasant, but after a good night's sleep i I feel ok. I made some liquid grits and i must say they were quite yummy and I was satisfied.

I had a little chest tightness and felt a little strange last night too. But I feel fine today. Have you been coughing or strangling at night?

Well, if it's possible to feel full and hungry at the same time, then I am your girl. That's how I feel right now. Of course I am on liquids and they're going down ok. About to try a protein shake so I can stop growling...

I was banded 4-18 and im on mushies and spreadable meats that I can put on melba toast and im doing about 4 hours before im hungry, just depends on the density of what I ate. I gotta tell you though, that 1/2 cup...is rough for me right now. I'm trying to focus on making sure im drinking and keeping myself hydrated (which is a challenge for me) so that im not tricked into thinking im hungry when im thirsty. Im sure im still in healing mode, but I am getting hungry and my first fill is not until the 17th. Ive lost 15 pounds since surgery( is that good, average, do i need to work out more) and the scale hasnt moved by pounds in 2 days, only ounces. Sigh...

glad you brought this up. I have fibroids( very small), but my periods are not typically heavy. I was banded on 4-18. On 4-27, the DAM BROKE! I think this was partly due to me getting off of the Nuvaring the month before per my surgeon. my periods are usually 5 days long. im interested to see what happens now.

I was diagnosed in 2007, take two thyroid medications daily, and my surgeon had no problem....My sixth sense ( and I have one) is telling me that if this particular surgeon is giving you resistance about having a thyroid issue...find another one. Because think about it... if you have a thyroid issue, that acutally makes it harder to lose weight which scores points if your'e planning to use your insurance to finance it. He should know that in and of your self and your own efforts, thyroid disease makes it harder to lose weight. Not impossible,but harder. If you use him and things dont go as they should, he will always blame it on the thyroid.

Keep walking... keep moving. I was still full feeling till about day 7, but it gets better.

Ive taken it before. But I thought when I was having that crushing chest pain while working in the CCU and my PATIENT was trying to see if I was ok...that was my omen to stop. No damage that I know of.
