Yay! I am the day after so I will be checking for your posts. I fortunately only have an hour drive and I don't have to check in until 1030, surgery at 1230. I guess its not that great cause I will be starving and thirsty by then!!! -
Mine is scheduled for Tuesday!!!!

I don't think there is an easy way to do that. My surgeon has me on partial liquid....I know part of it is the liver issue but mainly I believe it is to develop good habits before surgery. I mean, after surgery I am on a 2 week liquid only...and we will need to be used to life without chewing for a while!

Hey there...I am scheduled for the day before you. I had my first panic attack of nerves this morning. Otherwise, I have just been anxious and excited. I am not nervous for what the surgery means or how my life will change...but just for the surgery itself...incisions, etc. But we will be OK!!!

I would say no because its carbonated and thats the ONE thing that my doctor is explicit that I cannot have.

I am surprisingly not nervous....sometimes I think, what am I going to do when I get a super craving for something I can't have??...and then I think to myself....I can always have a bite. One day. I can live with that...if I want more than that I will just have to accept being fat forever...and that is the last thing I want.

My first fill once I have the surgery next week will be 4 weeks post op.

Hi Vicki! I am the same day as you! I would ask your doctor if there is anything you can add to your diet to help you with the LBS. You don't want to be making yourself sick!
