2 Weeks Out And Cheating With Solids

If you're cheating on ur diet- expect the pain. Follow that to the letter. I know it stinks and you're ready to be normal, but what you're doing is dangerous. It'll go away in like 20 mins. Don't cheat again.

    Surgery Yesterday

Water. Dilute a Popsicle with water. Sf koolaid only use 1/2 a pack til it's desired sweetness. Oh, tea. I drank my body weight in unsweetened tea with Truvia sweetener
  7. Depends on your NUT and how fast you can take things. I am 1 1/2 weeks out and doc has me on soft food. It's only two bites of tuna, but this should be about managing healthy food intake and exercise output
  8. There is a section on here for self pay/Mexico surgery , you can try there or search for his name/hospital name with the search tool. Good luck you guys! I'm sure he's great! Be sure to put up your experiences for other peeps
  9. Feeling pretty good- went shopping, Goodwill had 1/2 off everything!!! I bought some clothes that are only 1-2 sizes smaller than I am now. I just want something to sort of get started

    Lumpy Thighs And Massage

It's the pint of getting circulation going through your legs. If you massage them, put lotion on them, roll them, put caffeine on them.... It'll work. Just get the circulation flowing

    One Week Post Op

It's like all these clothes are now in our grasp. I used to hate clothes shopping but it was cause I couldn't find anything... As we get thinner- the possibilities expand
  14. Mine hit me when I had to sign all the consents in the docs office. The ones that said' I understand I could die' 'I understand I can gain weight back'... That freaked me out a bit. But I wouldn't have change this surgery for the world
  15. Oh definitely if you gotta lift stuff- take longer. My doc said 4 weeks if I work on the floor (of the hospital, cause I gotta lift patients potentially) but I get to go back early cause they're putting me as a secretary for two weeks.
  16. 2 weeks. But I could've gone after one week. I think you should go back after you follow up with the doc. That will be one week from discharge date (not actual surgery date)

    Taking In Alot Liquid

I came out drinking just fine. I have no issues getting all my water in whatsoever. But one day, I ate two Popsicles, and boy I felt it. Now that I've started mushy food- oh, restriction is there. But water is no issue. Be grateful

    Whats Considered Full Liquids?

Yep, soups are great! Make sure it's low fat and no lumps (or stuff you'd have to chew) pudding, yogurt, all fair game. Congrats!
  22. I have finally broke down and wanted to try it. I have no clue how to work it.
  23. If you get chewable or liquid- start now. You need those vitamins and minerals to meet your daily requirements, so it's best to start asap
