Ok. So I'm back at the hospital. Had another attack. Same kind of pain however the intensity was only 8 this time. Last time it was an excruciating 10. But before the pain got too bad I did take a dilaudid which is a painkiller I was given after my surgery on 4-24-12 that I never used. It made my pain go away but made me very loopy. I am still at the hospital because I want to get everything checked out. They are giving me a at scan soon For those of you that have had your gallbladder out have you had to change your diet even more or are there certain things that you absolutely cannot eat anymore? They still don't think it's my gallbladder but whatever it is I need to know. I have a full time job in which I do a lot of driving so I can't take painkiller while I'm at work if I ever get this pain. Plus it's just scary to not know what a pain is coming from I ate one light string cheese and about 5 fork fills of potato salad... So I did eat some fat but not any crazy amount... Perhaps that was the cause?? Any ideas anyone??? Any similar experiences ?

I think it does have to do with high fat before... That's what caused mine... Three boneless buffalo chicken wings... YesterdY was a slight episode...and I had some peanuts... Which we all know are high in Fat

So my surgeon said he doesn't think it was my gallbladder that made me in so much pain. He thinks it was some sort of gastro intestinal infection... And said if I get the pain again will do Further testing

Does or can stress give you gallbladder pain if you already have a gallbladder issue???

Hello, Ok, so I think it's heartburn, and it sucks bad. I've had heartburn a few times since surgery (4-24-12), and I've been able to either deal with it, or take Mylanta to fix it. Last night I had three buffalo boneless chicken wings. I felt fine, until about 2 or so in the morning. I felt and still feel bad heartburn near the bottom of my rib cage....like a nagging "warm" pain. Not unbearable at times, but also unbearable at other times. I don't really feel any other pain....no headache, etc. I did have very bad diahhrea this morning (but that isn't too unusual for me). I've taken Mylanta at 2 in the morning...I was able to sleep ok. Then I took it when I got out of the shower like 2 hours ago...no relief. Any ideas? What else can I do? Leak?

I am having crazy heartburn right below where my ribs start. It's like a nagging constant pain. I've had heartburn a few times before and have taken mylanta and feel better but not this time. Now... I did have three boneless wings with buffalo sauce early last night... Do you think that could be the culprit or is it a leak? Won't have those again. Thanks

What OTC med can I take for a sinus infection that will not hurt my sleeve?

This is a post op concern. Like we are not supposed to take Advil any more because it's too strong or something and can give you ulcers. I know there are other medications we aren't supposed to take anymore but I'm not sure which ones they are.

Had surgery 4-24-12 and down 65 pounds. Any who's. Ive been taking Biotin regularly for the two months since surgery. About two weeks ago I noticed my hair was really greasy no matter how much or little I washed it or what I washed it with. About a week ago I stopped taking the biotin and just today my hair seems to be coming more back to normal... Do you think it was the biotin? I read online that biotin can cause acne... Thanks

I fit in the booth at a restaurant where I never fit before I dropped something in my car today by my feet and was able to reach it My tight pants are becoming lose I was able to play street hockey with my husband for a few minutes... And run to get the ball... Granted I sucked at it but it's something that would have made me run out of breath before I feel like I may want to join a local sports team one day I was able to watch my husband eat pizza and not be too jealous... My confidence is up A guy at work today said I'm looking sleek!!! I ate half a banana and got full And for a scale victory... I'm under 300!!!

Surgery 4-24-12. Down from 370 to 295 today!!! Yahoo!!! Only gone down one shirt size but overall feeling pretty good!

It gets better!!! You will be able to eat much more kinds of food before you know it! I had my sleeve 4-24-12 and I don't regret it at all. Down 75 pounds!

I was sleeve 4-24-12 and have never thrown up. Very little nausea too

Just go back and think about why you got the surgery in the first place. All the pain you went through... All the money you spent. All of the emotions you went through. Is it worth it to just give up and give into those darn cravings?!
