Thanks for all the feedback! I am guilty of eating too fast a lot of the times. Trying to change 37 years of bad habits is hard. I also have 6.5cc in a 10cc band. Liquids go down fine. I've decided to keep the fluid in for now & slow way down on my eating. I'll give it another week then make a decision! Thanks again!

So I'm pretty sure I know what the answer is to my question, but I guess I need to hear it from others who have possibly experienced this... I got my 4th fill 3 weeks ago. They put in 0.5cc. Since that day I've had a love/hate relationship with my band. Some days are perfect. I eat my 1 cup of food, it goes down & stays down. The next day I can eat the exact same foods, the same amount, at the same pace & 2 bites in, it's stuck & comes right back up. Then because of the irritation from the PB I get stuck the rest of the day. This happens about 2-3 times a week. The rest of the time I have no problems. I am scheduled for my next appt on Wednesday. I know I don't need a fill, but the reasonable side of me says get an unfill...the overweight side of me says stick it out. I'm losing weight slowly but steady & am scared to death that going backwards will slow things down even more. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Banded on 4/23, my weight loss has been slow. I've lost 41 lbs which I'm totally satisfied with, but bc it has been a slow process I guess I haven't really noticed the changes in my body....until last night. We took the kids to the park & I was preoccupied with my little one, not realizing my oldest was photographing us. I got home & a friend of mine who I haven't seen in awhile text saying how great I looked in a picture my daughter posted on Instagram. So I logged in to check out this picture & was shocked to see myself. I then realized I had a similar picture of myself pre surgery at the same park. I compared the 2 & was in complete shock! What a wonderful NSV!!!

I saw him at my pre-op visit & on the day of surgery. Haven't seen him since. I've only seen the nurse practitioners for my fills. A different one each time. 2 I liked, 1 I strongly disliked. I have waited up to 2 hours after my appt time to get seen for my fill, major con. But a pro is they are aggressive with fills so hopefully I can get to the green zone soon.

I've had a few NSV's in the past month or so, but yesterday was my biggest! I was walking into Walmart & caught a reflection of myself in the door & couldn't believe what I saw....my collar bone!!! It's been in hiding for a few years. I never thought something so small could mean so much!

I was banded on April 23 by Dr. Reilly. Great surgeon. My care pre-op & surgery day were awesome. My only complaint is that I've had 3 fills so far & at each appt I waited at least an hour & a half to 2 hours past my appt time. So make sure not to schedule any other appts close to your appt time bc you will be late. I've seen 3 different nurse practitioners & all but one were great. Good luck to you! Funny I just started a thread about True Results in Houston. I am 3 months post-op & from pre-op to surgery my care was phenomenol! But I'm currently on my 3rd fill appt & I have come to the conclusion that the appt time you make with them for fills are a joke! My average wait time has been 1-2 hours. Right now I've been waiting 1 hour & 15 mins & still haven't been seen by the nurse practitioner. It's very frustrating that I cannot plan anything else on my fill days bc I never know when I will be seen!

Can anyone recommend a good protein bar?? I've been having problems on days I work with getting too hungry between lunch & dinner. I eat lunch at 11am & bc of the work I do I don't get to sit down for another meal until after 6pm. By then I'm famished & binge on all the wrong foods. I'm thinking if I eat a protein bar or 2 in between meals I won't feel the need to binge at dinner. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Going in for my 2nd fill today. Hoping for at least some restriction this time. I've been the same weight for almost 3 weeks & my will power is getting weak. I'm thankful I haven't gained bc I know I'm eating way more than I should be. Keeping fingers crossed that I'm close to some restriction!

I am flying in August & am hoping that I can comfortably sit without the arm rests digging in my thighs! We are going on an Alaskan cruise & one of our excursions is ziplining. There is a 250 weight limit. Thankfully I'm below that, but not by much. The more you weigh, the slower you go. My husband is about 10 lbs lighter than me so my fear is that he'll fly down & I'll be slowly gliding. So my goal is to weigh less than him by the time we go!

Almost 11 months after giving birth to my son I am finally back in my prepregnancy clothes! It's only a small accomplishment bc I was still obese before I got pregnant, but at least I'm not wearing maternity clothes anymore! I was also able to put my 2XL scrub pants away & pull out the XL! Only 2 more sizes to go to be back in the mediums in the bottom of the pile! YAY!
