I'm feeling a LOT better today. Still some gas, but not bad. I'm sore at the incision site. Today was the first day I felt hungry. I still can't eat much and it's such a weird feeling. Ha! I haven't been able to drink 64 oz of fluid, but I'll try again tomorrow. How are you doing?

I still can't really eat. Also, I haven't had a BM but i havent been eating anything so im not surprised. I think if it doesn't happen tomorrow, I'll go get some miralax or something. I haven't had the nerve to step on the scale yet, but I am feeling a lot better. I'm taking Percocet, but I'm going to start taking Tylenol tomorrow because I need to drive.

It's totally normal to be nervous. I had the band with plication on Tuesday (5/29). I was nervous too. The recovery so far has been good. You can do this! Good luck.

I hate to admit it, but walking really helped. Even late at night I was doing laps in my apartment! -
I totally hear you! It's very hard, but just keep thinking of why you're doing this and you won't binge.

Are you guys finding a lot of restriction with the plication? I'm still too 'new' having banded plication on Tuesday, but I really can't eat anything. I assume this is normal for the first week or so? -

Just saw a magazine article that said she went from a size 20 to a 14. So, I guess she seems to be doing well so far.

Liquids and mushies and basically soft foods for a month while the stomach heals. I'm stocked up on soups and yogurt and ice pops! I dont want to jinx it, but I'm feeling pretty good right now. -

Congrats bama! Im still in the hospital. Everything went well. Pain is manageable. I'm super sleepy, but they're getting me up to walk evey 2 hours. More later! -

I'm right with you, bama. I'm mostly packed, about to go to bed (I'm starving!) I'm getting picked up at 5am to go to the hospital. So, I'm getting up at 4 to do the special surgical cleanser, etc. Bama- we can do it! Post to let us know how it goes. -
