I told 2 people-- my dad and a friend. My weight loss so far has been slow and steady so I just tell people that I've been working out more. A couple times eating out with friends has been hard, and I've gotten stuck, but its always been my own fault for not chewing enough. -
Mercy hospital. I had surgery in late May.

Well, I thought I'd post some before/after pics (although I'm not really an "after" yet)! I had lapband with plication on May 29 and I'm down 40 lbs. I don't feel like I look different, but the pics help show the change. I encourage everyone to take a "before" pic...I almost didn't do it, but I'm gladi did! Lol.

do you like running/jogging? maybe try signing up for a race. it will give you a goal to look forward to and it's more about having fun completeing the race and less about "ugh i need to exercise today" if you know what I mean. that sometimes works for me! (and i dont even really like to run!) -
good for you! i almost didnt take a pre-op pic because i didnt want to see what I looked like, but most of the lapband veterans recommended it. now i am happy i did it! cant wait to take another pic at my next milestone.

Yes I had this done a little over 5 months ago. So far, so good. I've had 2 small fills and I will likely get a 3rd fill later this month.
