I did my pre-op today. Now I'm starting to feel excited but nervous at the same time. One more week to go! Congrats to everyone!

Wooo Hooo, I didn't even think of miso soup. I'm half Japanese and was raised on miso soup. I make it for my daughter quite often (with rice and tofu). My surgery is Wednesday the 13th and today I was with the nutritionist talking about clear liquids. I didn't even THINK of miso soup. Thanks for posting it.:biggrin1:

I officially have a surgery date. My date is June 13th, just a few more weeks to go. I'm so excited I just had to share :clap2:

Hi everyone! I'm in Athol - North Central Mass :help: (j/k). I'm new to posting, but have been reading and researching the band for a while now. You've all been so helpful, without even realizing it. So... I'm going through the program at Emerson and have had my 1st consult, tests, and later this week will meet with the nutrionist for the 2nd time. Next week I meet the surgeon to see if I can have the surgery. I'm so very excited, and can't wait, even though the journey started on March 19th, it feels like it's taking forever.
