I was in the same vote....too weak to go back I took my week and I go back today and still feel weak. Hubby wants me to do a half a day and I will see how I feel.

Good morning, My name is Tammy and I'm from Georgia. I am a married and a mother of a 11 year old son. I have been praying and researching on what exactly to do about they type of surgery to have. I have decided that the band would be best for me and what I need to accomplish. I'm very excited for my journey with my new tool!! I had my surgery May 11th. The highest pain I had was a 7 I guess. The gas pain was in my left shoulder but that is much better today. I'm going back to work tomorrow, I decided to take my vacation for my surgery. Lets see the day after surgery I was drinking some but not much I did a lot of sleeping. Day 3...4...5...6... I've had my 3 8oz shakes and for the most part I did get my liquids in one day I actually had 68oz. I started back on my vit/cal today. My Calcuim Citrate is powder and my vit d is liquid and I just add it to my shakes. It makes my shakes a little chalky but not back. I've saved so much money doing it this way. Anyways if you have any ??? just ask. My journey so far has been well worth it and would do it all over again. My weight loss so far is good and I'm well pleased. Have a blessed evening Tammy

DeAna well I'm day 6 days post and am feeling great. I still tire easy and I still have the gas in my left shoulder.....nothing I can't handle. I'm just sore at the port but other than that I'm doing. I'm returning to work tomorrow and looking forward to it. I chose to take a week off and have enjoyed my time. How are you? I had my surgery on May 11th as well. Things are going along well here too. I dont go to the doc until May 31st. That will be my 3 wk check. I have to do liquids for two weeks after surgery and I'm just starting to feel hungry and looking forward to mushie food. Anyways glad to hear your doing well. Tammy

Carol Ann I'm sure everything will go fine. I had mine with plication on the 11th. It wasn't that bad just take your pain meds and get your liquids in. I know everything will be fine and welcome to the journey. Best wishes Tammy

What is everyone taking as far as the calcium citrate?

I had my surgery on May 11th. The first day was good just really think about drinking your fluids. My favorite fluids were sugar free popsicles and chicken or beef broth. The broth even has some protein in it. My second day seemed to be the worst if you could call it that. My biggest pain is where my port is but even that isnt that bad. My throat hurt because he fixed a hiatal hernia and the tube I guess. I think that's why the popsicles and broth felt so good. Plus I think for each popsicle has 1 oz of fluid. Anyways this is day 4 post op and feeling so much better!! I've increased my shake from 4 oz to 6 oz not because I feel hungry but I need to get my protein in. I have never felt hungry either which I find amazing!!! My husband has been fixing dinner for him and our son and it hasnt even bothered me. I have the mind set to do this and not fail!!!! Plus most of all I have God's grace to help me. He is such a merciful God and will always be right by our side. If you have any questions just ask would love to help!!! Tammy

I haven't been hungry at all....as a matter of fact I have to remind myself to have my shake.

My surgery was Friday the 11th. Is there anyone out there that is suffering from an ear aches? My right ear is hurting along with my throat.....I pray I'm not coming down with something.

I'm feeling better today. I've chosen to stop pain pills today to to they make me so tired and I'm struggling to get my fluids in. Really the only discomfort I have is where my port is. I do have some gas bit that wasn't that bad either. Yesterday was probably my worst day if you could call it.the worst. Lol. I have to do liquids for the next two weeks than I can start mushy. I haven't been hunger at all since my surgery. My husband even made sausage yesterday and it didn't bother me a bit. Of you have any questions justnaske and please keep me updated on yours. Tammy

I have these and they are great in my opinion!!! Well worth the money!!!

Much easier than my c-section!! I can get out of my chair all by myself!!!! I'm a big girl!!! LOL

You can do this!! ya know how many bottles I drank that were a big mac, fries oh and chinese?? That's how I made it through...it's mind over matter sweetie and you can do this. I had my surgery this morning and am so glad I followed the direction..Best of luck Tammy

All went great!! I'm sitting here at the computer desk typing this as we speak. The pain level is about a 6 if that along with the gas. It's not really pain that im having not sure what to cll it but it okay. My gas seems to be under the ribs and litle in my left shoulder. No regrets at all!!! **Happy dance** I got banded.....I got banded!! If anyone has any question about anything just send me a message I have a hard time finding them on here and especially on my droid. lol Oh and I have the best husband in the whole wide world!! Good evening everyone!! Well I have to be at the hospital at 7am. The said I will have the surgery with in the hour of that. I am very nervous and a couple of times today I almost had myself talked out of it. That will not happen though!!! Anyways I would love your prayers and I will try and post tomorrow.
