I had my surgery May 11th and was experiencing the same as you. I have a 10 cc band and on Thursday he put in .3cc. I'm hoping this helps me as well with the feeling of wanting to much all the time.....I havent had that feeling since surgery but the last two weeks have been terrible. I cant have anything mushy until Monday at lunch so it's protein shakes until then. Since surgery it's been 27lbs and 35lbs pre op so I'm happy with the results and still feel this was the best thing that I've done for myself. Tammy

I was banded May 11th as well. pre op I weighed 271 and this morning I weighted 236. I go back to the doc August 9th for my 3 month check up. I decided to do the surgery to help my health, I was tired of the roller coaster ride and what is was doing to me. I prayed for over a year and what do do and I believe God answered my prayer with the band. Tammy

You will need to get benefiber and add that to your water. I also took stool softners.

That is a lot of what it feels like...gas..cramps...constipatation all wrapped up in to one. Like I said it feels better each day. I'm on liquids until lunch on Monday and at lunch I can have mushy. Thanks for your help. If anything go wrong I always worry it's my band....lol I need to work through that.

My surgery was May 11th and have been doing good. I went to a support group Monday night and before hand went have dinner with a friend of mine who has also been banded. While I was eating my salad I took to big of a bite and didnt chew much and swallowed. Mistake!!! It got stuck probably my worst but I was able to walk it off which I'm sure I looked crazy walking in circles. Well about 11 am Wed. my stomach started hurting and was uncomfortable. Finally at 2:30 I asked to leave and came on home. I was/am so afraid that my bad has slipped. Anyways I went yesterday to see my doc and told him what had happened and asked if he thought my band slipped. He said that if my bad slipped I would know it. I would be vomiting, bad pain and not able to keep food down. Well it wasnt like that and nothing more was said about it. He put in another .4cc in my band so I have a total of 5 in there now. The pain/uncomfortable feeling that I have has gotten somewhat better but I still have it. I was wondering if anyone else has had this feeling?? But then again it's hard to really explain the feeling I'm having. I guess it's a mix of ovulating/needing to go to the bathroom to just needing to let it rip but magnified. Anyways any imput would be great!! Thanks in advance, Tammy

I'm on liquids until Monday lunch. I did have some at ribs and aides nut it is getting better. It isn't the type of pain to where I need to go back to him it's just uncomfortable especially at first. It seems to be even better this morning. The reason for getting stuck on Monday night was my fault I was very hungry and taking to big of a bite and not chewing

I'm loosing in my feet as well. I've had to tighten my sandals.

I had my second fill yesterday...I have 5cc in my 10cc band. When I went yesterday I told my doc that my tummy was aching/hurting since Tuesday. I was worried that maybe my band had slipped. He told me that I would know that my band slipped because of refux, severe pains and some vomiting. So he made me feel better about that but I'm still wondering why I'm still having the pain/uncomfortable feeling that I'm having. Anyways has anyone else had this pain? Thanks

I had my surgery May 11th and will be having my second fill next Thursday....I hope. I havent felt any different since my first fill. I hope I have some restriction on my second fill. Have you noticed a difference? On day of surgery he put in 3 cc and my first fill was 1.6 so I have 4.6cc in my 10cc band. Have a great day!!

That is great to hear Jackie's Girl!! I had my first fill last Thursday and it didnt hurt at all ...he did numb it first. I started off with 3cc's in my band when I had surgery. He put 1.6 cc's in on Thursday. Yesterday at lunch I was able to eat mushie prior to that I had to have liquids. Did fine eating yesterday now as for restriction I'm not sure if I have it. It really doesnt feel any different to me. I asked the doc about how it should feel and he said everyone is different. All I do is eat the allowed amounts for each meal and that is it....Just as long as I'm not hungry between meals I'm good to go..... so maybe that is my restriction. Now last night I think I felt full but I'm still trying to get a good feel for it. My surgery was May 11th and I've lost 21 pounds since then and 28 since I started my pre op just under 2 weeks before surgery. Just as you I'm so excited about how eveything is going!! My doc said to stay away from them. I thought it was going to be hard but so far so good no cravings for it. Which those are the foods that got me this was to begin with...oh and pasta!!

I purchased my vitamin and calcium citrate at the health food store.

Meat substitutes are great as well.

Well I went to the doc today. My surgery was May 11th and I'm doing great!! I had my first fill today!! The day of surgery he put in 3cc and today he put in 1.6 so I shall see how this goes. I will be having protein shakes until lunch Monday and then I can have mushie at first. since pre op I've lost 25 lbs and I'm tickled pink!! Just thought I would share. Y'all have a great day!! I go tomorrow to the doc and I think I'm getting a fill. He put in 3cc on date of surgery. Tomorrow will be 6 wks....I dont have restriction now...at least I dont think I do...lol
