Maybe they haven't heard of the procedure; I didn't know about it until I went to the ciminar for my surgeons office on bariatric surgery.

I waited to tell those that would be critical till I had to; my mother is one - I told her when I got my date; my grandmother- the day before. These two are the only ones I really didn't want to discourage me. My children weren't for it; but who cares what they say; they barely have weight issues cause they gave seen me be far my whole life and listen to my husband complain about it and they are all three careful about their weight. My oldest worked at the hospital in the catering department before delivering meals to the bariatric patients so she knew what kind of non food I would be eating and she said F THAT! All of my co workers have been supportive; I work at WINN DIXIE as a floating cake decorator; most of my coworkers are female ; two of which had bypass; one 7 years ago and one year ago! My best friend didn't like it but oh well! My family knows; but through my husband all our mutual family and friends know; because my Husband put the crap on Facebook !!!! Uuuugggggg I told him not to; but I'm pretty open with everything anyway; just wanted to answer questions after not before. I have been overweight for my age since I were 5; had strep throat ; tonsillitis and asthma all during childhood; took a lot of steroids and my family was poor or penny punchers so we ate poorly; I despise a lot of vegetables raw and don't like fish. Now I'm taking control of those bad habits and cravings! No shame!

Yes we have BCBS of Michigan it was $1000 co pay and will be 10% owed after deductible . Got the hospital bill today; just hospital. $18,000. I paid the $1000 to the surgeon.

My husband was apprehensive too the first week; he said; no you just had surgery; but 9 or 10 days out it was on; loosing even 21 lbs I was feeling sexier and he was too he has been doing HCG! Only lasted a week: but he Dodd loose 5 lbs and both or bellies have went down and it was better!

He just wasn't listening to you if you told how you been exercising: keep up the great work. I'm only losing 4 lbs a week. REMEMBER your building muscle while burning fat. I hope I can loose 36 pounds in a month; I'm two weeks out and only down 8 lbs from surgery 24 from pre op diet! BE PROUD OF YOU!!!! We are all proud of you!!

I have a friend that got thinner than she wanted; she was snacking a lot which kept her metabolism running high; so she stopped And went back up about 5 lbs. she had bypass 7 yrs ago

Thinking- dilute your juice- too much acid and sugar; this is causing your dia

Thank you Lord! All this time I've been avoiding the friendly straw! And want to use it! So I am starting in a few mins. Maybe this is why I can't get all my water in!
