The View From Atop This Plateau Is Not Good

Throw that scale away. I have restricted myself to using the scale at the gym and the docs office. Only problem is if I am at the gym everyday I will weigh myself everyday. Not a good habit as it messes with my emotions. Keep moving forward, eating well, and congratulate yourself on all the hard work you have done. Another method to track my success is measuring myself. It is amazing how many inches have fallen off with only 40lbs gone.

    Bandster Hell Is Among Me!!!

I understand the feeling of frustration. It was hard to stick stricktly to the post-op diet. Now I am 2 1/2 months out from surgery and down 30lbs. I have had 2 small fills, which are good reminders as to why I took this route for weight loss. Lots of will power and avoiding those foods that don't serve my body have been needed to make it to this point. I suggest keeping a paper copy of the post-op diet handy and refer to it everytime it is mealtime. Hang in there it will get easier.
  4. I am very please with my weight loss so far, but I get discouraged when I look at how much more I have to lose.
