The hospital is actually called MISH (Minimally invasive surgical hospital), but it is the same place. I had mine done there in April and have been very happy with my progress so far. The doctors are great (though they never run on time) and I'd be glad to answer any questions you may have! -
I thought it was the 1st, 8th, 15th etc. If so, that's Friday. If it's Tuesdays then I'm checking in at 225.6.

I was banded on April 17th and had my first fill today. 3.2ccs in a 10cc band. -
Officially ending May at 228.4, I started at 238.8. 10.2 lbs feels awesome! I get my first fill today.

25.6 lbs down as of today! I was banded on 4/17 and have my first fill next week. I know I'll plateau eventually, but I'm feeling pretty damn good about myself today! XXL shirts are a thing of the past, currently in an XL... On my way to a medium!

Hey guys! I'm so glad I found this site. I'm Rebecca and I was banded a week and a half ago. I'm about halfway through my liquid diet and getting bored. I'm mostly drinking protein drinks, water, iced tea and broth. Any suggestions? Liquifying foods sounds unappealing to me. Thanks!

My surgeon said to freeze liquid gels and cut them with a sharp knife. Does that help? -
