Opinions needed. I am deciding between dr Manual Castro in Duncanville ( Methodist Dallas) or dr Davidson (Presbyterian Dallas). Please vote and share why you would choose which.

I've heard some bad things about Methodist, but I've had a really good experience with them also. I just don't know.

I am with Dr Davidson now. I am looking to transfer to Castro. He is closer to me. I'm worried about post op visits and being so far away from home with the surgery. My hubby will have to manage found back and forth an hour with small children at home.

Me too. I am a 12 w. I can't really buy shoes. If I can move to an 11 R. I can be a regular shoeaholic like any other self respecting lady..lol

I tried some protein for the first time. It stinks!!!! It smells like a baby diaper. Is this true of all protein??? I tried the Sunkist shots.. Too sweet and stinky. I also tried some little Jell-O shots. Also disgusting smell. Help!!

I'm not sure what you mean. There is a sinner that's close to me I'll call Forest Park medical center and they feel a lot of different protein products so Gerar protein bars there are protein shakes their protein shots that are literally like on a file of some type of really sweet liquid and here's why am that actually is about the size of him maybe two or three quarters

Ok. This might sound bad, but I don't want to lose my booty!! It was one of the last things to develop and I'm afraid I will be flat as a board. Has anyone noticed disproportionate weight loss on your backside. I want to keep my shape just more compacted.

So, I know this is a post surgery site, but I have a concern this group might no more about. I think I am going to be approved for the surgery. It has been a fight and I was all gung ho, but now I'm scare this is going to be like every other diet I've had. What if I'm fat again in 2 years? How easy is it to gain back???

So Aetna changed their guidelines for bariatric surgery coverage last month. 3 BP Meds instead of 2. How can it change mid stream. I'm chasing an impossible dream!!!

I have a Bmi of 35. Aetna requires a co morbid condition for a BMI under 40. I have to show a weight for 2 years but do I also have to show the co morbid condition for 2 years? I have high blood pressure but I haven't had it for 2 years. I'm scared because I have done everything including the weight management class. Im scared I will be in vain. Anyone know if u can still be approved if ur co morbid condition is not 2 years old?

I wear a size 12 wide shoe. I would live to drop a size or 2 after surgery. Has anyone had that happen?
