I mean runny* mashed potatos

It's like the story of my life I just read! As we speak, I just finished my dinner of funny mashed potatos, and every one of these symptoms happened. Starting with the talking tummy, then the 1 hiccup, followed by tiny lump in throat, then a very slight runny nose and I'm sitting here now feeling full! Lol crazy.

Mommeof3 - I started preop diet at 313 lbs,got to 298 D.O.S , and as of this morning, 8 days post op, I am at 290 lbs.

1 week post op for me!

Oh yea, n for Apple juice, I had that straight out of surgery... The day after anyway. It was the first thing they brought me.

I had orange/ mango juice from jamba juice like 3 or 4 days post op. But only a couple sips. I did fine, but I think that's what got me running to the bathroom!

surgery day after tomorrow. just flew in to san diego today! ill let you all know in a couple days how it goes with garcia!!!

Discharge- Dr.velasco came in the morning to check on me, and discharged me out of the hospital, she went over the diet with me, explained how to take my medicine, and gave me a goody bags as they call it , with my medicine , gatorades and water along with a copy of all of my medical records. Melissa then took my to the 1st floor to wait for our shuttle (me and other patients) and explained to us that anything that we needed to call her or Rosie, and she put her business cards in the bag as well as a phone list of all of the doctors. That ease my mind once again because I felt that I could get in touch with any of them if I needed them. she took a picture of us. and we were taken back to the Marriott. thanks for sharing!!! my surgery is thursday! 09/20/12! I am soo sooo nervious! I cant beleive how close this is! I was wonding if he could give me a dvd of my surgery or pictures of the part of my tummy they remove, i know its gross but i wonder if he will still do it....

right! im happy to just think about how i will be loosing weight instead of gaining this winter.!

yeah that is weird! 5 day preop would be awesome! im on my 5th day today, and if that was the case then i would have flew through the 5 day preop diet with out the complaints! really though, the preop diet hasnt been to bad, i think im handling the protien shakes better then i thought i would! Im really wonder what Garcia has in store for my post op diet! In my packet it just says 2 weeks of liquids/soft foods e.i. sugar free pudding/jello, thin soups... but i dont know whats after the 2 weeks...

hey. 20th buddy! im on my 4th day of pre op diet, and it got a little easier as the day s go by.. hang in there!

omg!! yay! congrats! im going to garcia on9/20 im a little scared though. did u get the post op diet from garcia or from ur packet? i got a packet from my cooridinator alma n it just says liquid and soft foods (crystal light,sugar free fruit juices,apple sause,sugar free jello, and thin soups) for 2 weeks

september 20th for me! i also went through ready4 a change. i think we will just pass eachother i leave for home the 24th!

i am booked for dr garcia on 9/20/12 i recieve my packet from alma befor i booked. it say 7-14 day preop diet. i chose to do the 14 days of 1 protien shake for breakfast and 1 for lunch and then a salad and a protien (chicken, egg··· ) for dinner. im on day 3 and so far so good. i changed it up a little though for dinner i've had campbels soup.

oh no! sorry to hear of the trouble your having. i have not been sleeved yet , im due 9/20 but i have delt with the period that wouldent stop when i went on the hcg diet about a year ago. it was awful!

Yes, I have pcos, and all signs of it dark patches on thighs, eyelids, under arms, facial hair, the whole works.... it sucks. I take bc to get a period, I really hope the surgery clears some of these issues up!

I'm paying the $500 deposit today and I am sooo nervous! I plan on having my surgery 9/20 and I couldn't be anymore stressed out! Surgery really freaks me out but at this point I don't feel like I have another option to get all this weight off
