This is the machine the Dr I am going to uses. You can YouTube it or use any search engine to do your research. I found out lots of information but noting on was it safe for wls ppl. I had the talk with my band surgeon who ok'd it and with the dr doing the laser Lipo to make sure this was best for me. Hope this helps
The YOLO Curve non-invasive treatment is considered one of the most innovative methods to treat stubborn areas of fat that do not respond to diet and exercise. It emits low levels laser energy and the fat cell membranes are disrupted releasing intra-cellular fat. This causes the cell to lose its round shape by changing the permeability of the cell membrane. This does not affect the neighboring structures such as skin, blood vessels, and peripheral nerves.

I am 20lbs from my doctors goal. Where I am now was my personal goal. I am looking into laser Lipo. It takes longer usually 3 treatments a week for a number of weeks based on your body. My surgeon and the laser lipo doc both said it was great for lapband patients. Will keep you posted

wow this was alot of information. i am going on my 2yr with the lapband and have had to have 3 unfills due to my allergies. My doctor has only advised me to get some over the counter meds with decongestant in them and to take them daily. i am currently just filled and am having trouble due to the mucus drainage. the thought of having the band removed after dealing with this since last September 2013 is a welcomed one but my surgeon hasn't recommended that.

I am going through that right now. I work out 6days a week and have been training for months for a half marathon in April. My time of the month I just try not to weigh myself... Which is hard because I am like you I weigh myself daily. Who knew the hunger monster would be replaced by the lbs monster

Congrats!
I am training for one April 27th you will be an inspiration to me

So I've been banded since 2/2012
Long story short I've only lost 16lbs to date. Before surgery I lost almost 40lbs was doing great working out and eating right.
Now I am in a green zone but find it hard to make good food choices and typically not really hungry. I am just frustrated. I went and bought Protein powder last week to help supplement but I know my nutritionist really didnt want me to get my Protein that way. I just feel so lost.... When I go to aftercare they seem to be ok with my weight loss but the most I have lost in a 3 week period is 4lbs. I guess I was just expecting more after doing this drastic measure. Anyone have suggestions???
Normal day
Breakfast- egg sausage or juice oatmeal or nothing if I can't tolerate it
Snack- Jerky
Lunch- tuna, Soup, salad , seafood
Usually no other snack or a Hershey's kiss if wanting something sweet
dinner fish, chicken or beef maybe veggies if still hungry
Drink lot of Water with those powder mixes
Workout 3-5 times a week 40 mins cardio and strength

So I have been banded since February 2012 have loss less than 20lbs mostly due to not being able to work out consistently and poor diet. One thing that is soooo difficult for me I the diet of two days Clear liquids then two days soft foods. Anyone out there with so advice/ideas ? I do vanilla chai Protein from the store which is tasty and found a organic potato leek Soup but it's 100 degrees where I am at and honesty it's not satisfying. I so want to be successful and have started sticking to at least 30minutes of exercise a day. I just feel like a failure. I only lost 2lbs fill an I am sure I gained this time around.
Thanks for any advice

Today my "Fill Dr" said to stop crunches and sit ups cause it can tear the port and cause it to be superficial. What kind of midsection workouts couldI do to trim this muffin top. Losing weight fast' date=' not really the tummy. I workout daily if not at LEAST 3 times a week most times twice a day walking and running weight training swimming.. Any pointers would be welcomed. Thanks![/quote']Wow my next fill is Thursday I do abs almost everyday wonder if they will tell me the same?

Hi Tiffanie! I'm 22 from MN' date=' getting banded on Tuesday. I am nervous but excited too. How are things going for you? Feel free to message me any time.- Natalie[/quote']
Hi Daisy
These past two weeks after my second fill I am starting to really understand more. I am only 28 and dont have any friends that have the Lapband. I work late so could never get to the 1X a month support group my surgery center had. So I took to the web... Which later after calling my doctors office several times because everything I read I felt was wrong with me. I can look back and laugh now but then I just cried. The only bad thing right after surgery for me was the gas I went in on Thursday and was back to work by Monday. The gas lasts for 3-6 weekes per my doctor. I was put on a liquid diet for 2 wks soft foods for 2 wks then slowly regular foods. By 1 week I was starving and wanted regular food so I started eating real food but just new I made my band slip luckily I had a post op appointment and told the doctor I had started eating he said I was healing really fast so at the most I could go to soft foods. Overall my surgery was great . I had wrote somewhere else that what I really need/ needed was this group being able to talk to people and gain some perspective. Since joining I feel amazing with all the diet and exercise tips I have gotten off here. I am finally feeling closer to a green zone and so excited to reach my goals. I hope I gave you a little insight and message me anytime you wanna chat or just feel alone. I was there and it was horrible.
Best of luck to you

Wow the journey you are on now I am happy to be over that period. I was banded 2/9/12. Inbox me if you need to chat sometimes. My biggest downfall was not finding people who were banded to talk to
Best of luck

Hi I was banded just before you 2/9/12. I was living off the clear and free benefiber that you can add to pretty much anything and not have a taste. I am regular now sometimes a couple times a day ( I went after every meal pre Lapband ) so it was hard to have to struggle. I really believe it was all the Protein Shakes and really I was lost until recently on food choices. This group and speaking to the nurses and doctors at fills have helped me feel better each day. Best of luck

I am not sure if this has been put out there but Skimble has a free app called Workout Trainer. I have been using at home and work and it's been great to fit little workouts throughout my day.

Hi everyone
-
I am 11 weeks post surgery and I remember feeling that same way. The gas pain was so horrible and I felt like no one understood/ could explain what was happening to be rationally. Now that I am this far out I am happy with my decision just sad that I had to go to this extreme to start being healthy. Once you start dropping weight the regret will fade
Hang in there
