I honestly had no problems after my gallbladder...it was a breeze. When I had my sleeve just the smell of broth would make me sick...I was severely nauseated for 3 or 4 days....so my opinion is its not the gallbladder...it's the sleeve

No More Weightloss?
stevibogan replied to Seemebetter's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My surgery was also may 29th...I have lost 22lbs but NOTHING in the last week...make me feel better that I'm not the only one. -
The liquid diet wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. But the antibiotics I am having to take today is another story. I have never been this sick in my life. I hope its worth it. I have to be at the hospital at 7:30 in the morning and surgery should be about 9:30. I'm super excited and hope everything goes good.

A dermatologist told a friend of mine to put a good Chapstick with vitamin e and SPF in it and it's better and cheaper than maderma.

Has Anyone Gone To Mexico To Be Sleeved?
stevibogan replied to sarah nelson's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
Hello reaching high...dr Pinson is doing my surgery may 29th...I love him and have never heard anything bad about him...I know Tina of patients that use him. -
I haven't had my sleeve yet so I can't comparison the two...hopefully I will on may 29th but I did have my gallbladder out last year. My recovery was a breeze. Not much pain at all except for the gas. I only took pain meds the day of surgery and after that I was fine. I actually left the hospital about 2 hours after my surgery and went grocery shopping...lol. It's not bad at all mainly just a little sore.

I went to my first appointment today. Everything went great. The dr said I was healthy for my size even though I am 303lbs. I have been overweight all my life so I am ready to head in the right direction. If everything goes as planned I will do my psych eval and nutrition appointment on may 8th, an education seminar on the 14th, see the dr again on the 23rd and surgery on the 29th. Everything is going to happen really fast and I am do excited to join the family of sleevers.
