    Carb Frustration! Help!

    Something that hasn't been mentioned i that a lot of low carbers are counting net carbs. (Carb count minus Fiber count) that's what in doing. I usually get around 38 carbs but minus the fiber, it's still under 20 like I'm aiming for. I eat meat, cheese, some nuts, dry roasted edamame. I won't touch crackers because they make me crave more and I haven't had much in the way of fruit since being sleeved 10 weeks ago. Fruit makes me hungry as a snack, and I don't usually have room for it during my meal. I want mine super low while losing to lose quicker and hopefully consistently.

    I hate the whites too. Much prefer the yolk. In fact, with hard boiled eggs, I'll only eat the yolk.

  4. Went off it a few days back. Today I started noticing I can only eat about half of what I could before. I feel the acid feeling and I feel full faster. Either it's the lack of a ppi, my pancreas acting up again or maybe gall bladder? Anyone have this happen with a ppi?

    Thanks everyone! Indefinitely had a list of polars, including the ft4 in my amazon wish list, an dim gonna go with that as a starter. I can't wait to play with it!!!! And I love the pink and copper color, can't decide. Edit: maybe the ft4f which is only a couple more would be better. I don't swim, but it's Water resistant. I will run in the rain if necessary. Well poop: I want it to tell the time too. Perhaps the white ft40f would be better. It's REALLY cute. Would anyone want to take a minute to tell me the main differences between the ft60 and the ft40f?
  6. I'm feeling really discouraged this week. For the last three weeks I've lost less than 2 lbs/week. I have 60 to lose. I'm really working out in that time though, upper on Monday, lower on Wednesday, cardio 4 days a week or more. Sigh. I eat very low carb (20 net carbs a day) and I'm getting my daily Water, usually plus some. I'm getting 600-800 calories a day. I feel gypped. I'm glad I can't really go OFF this diet, but I really hoped to lose quicker. And I know all about the skin not being as flappy etc. I'm going to have flappy wrinkly skin as it is, it's a heredity thing. That argument doesn't work with me. Sadly. Last week - 1.6 This week - 1.4 I lost faster than this on every other diet I've ever done. Up to 6 lbs a week on weight watchers. Same with vegan Maybe I need carbs?

  16. I have a forum suggestion on some forums I'm a member of, you can see a preview of the threads first post under each topic title before opening a post. If that makes sense. I was hoping we can get something like that here.. some you hover over the title name and a preview box will pop up.. in others it's already there. OR maybe there is a setting I can change so that I can see this? THIS way we dont have to click on every thread to see if it is something we are interested in reading or not. like a thread titled "uhoh" is pretty cryptic. I have to click it to know what it's about. If I had a preview, I'd be so happy. thanks
  17. I just started noticing this yesterday. My bra is feeling tight too. Today I had my dd take a pic of me and I noticed how full my ankles are of Fluid. I don't know of this is from the heat or what, but he last two days have been pretty hot compared to the weather we had been having and I've been sweatin a lot more. My pee is concentrated too, dispite the fact that I've drank more fluids today than any other day as a sleever, as of yet. I'm also on blood thinners for 3 clots in my intestines, but I've never encountered this in the 6 weeks I've been on them. Course it hasn't been this hot either. Last time I saw the cardiologist he asked me if I had any swelling and I hadn't at that time, but now I'm alarmed an wondering if I should be. Anyone else experience this! (Pic my daughter took of me, for funsies)

    Slimies. Foamies.

    happens to me when i eat too fast, which sadly has happened 3 times. you have a pressure in your chest - feels kinda like you ate a brick, and then you feel like you have to burp or something. you try to pull up a burp but instead, it's mucousy "slime." not pleasant, and the times it's happened to me, I've had to induce vomiting to ease pressure.. I dont have to use my finger (tmi, yall) just keep doing that "burp/suck" thing and it keeps coming out for up to an hour. NOT fun. you'd think I'd learn, but I have 6 kids and dinner time is crazy time around hereand i HATE hate hate hate eating slow. well maybe 3 hates for eating slow, and 4 for overeating.

    I eat things like Scrambled egg with American cheese half Natural choice lunch meat Cheese Grilled (flavored store bought) tilapia and salmon Tiny shrimp, canned Everything has so much sodium. Please teach me how to get less, while keeping fairly low carb. I could eat eggs without cheese, boil a chicken for the week, maybe make burger patties and freeze or even meatballs. What else? Or should I not worry about sodium right now?

    To track or not to track?

    Niolanz, do you think it's possible that you are forgetting things at the end of the day? Simple things like a vitamin or two or a Gatorade you don't usually have. Sometimes even tho I'm an obsessive tracker, I still get panicky at the end of the day and wonder of I've forgotten stuff. I think I forgot to track one of my cheese sticks yesterday. (Face/palm)
