You all look fabulous! Gosh I hope my day comes!

This is a long distance friend 20 years older than me. I really want to try to talk her out of it. Are there links etc I can send her?

What is an 18w? Do sizes go 14 14w 16 16w and so forth? My 18w's are too big on me so I was excited thinking I'm in a 16 now but it probably means I'm only in an 18 huh? I'm NOT shopping for jeans until I think I might be on the "normal side" or else I'd just go try stuff on. That's a sensitive subject- shopping for clothes has always left me disgusted and really disappointed in myself.

If you were curious about the 30 day shred, you can watch all of it on YouTube! So cool! Was thinking about purchasing it (again o.O) and decided to see if it was available for free and all three levels are!. I have YouTube through my Xbox so I can watch it on the tv. I have no intentions of doing 30 straight days, but ill definitely add this to my collection!!

Thank you all for your ideas and encouragement- Swimmom- I'm having a hard time finding time to d c25k and don't have good shoes, but that is a goal of mine eventually. I'd love to do any of those fun runs!! Probably next summer. I take my kids to walks in the lark with me and I'm kindof a loner. I think I push myself harder when I'm only focusing on me and my burn and my breathing etc. yanno? I may invite someone on days I need extra motivation to get out an about tho. Oh new clothes!! I was just planning in that next weekend. Woohoo! Do they make anything hot pink in xl? What style/brand do you recommend? Nicolanz- you're right, it IS different this time! I allow myself one day or less a week off. What do you do for exercise? Other guy whose name I've forgotten- I ride w the kids around the neighborhood. Walks at the park. Lots of hills there! I take my kids one at a time. (There are 6) thy provide entertainment and sometimes we race etc. hehe About the gym. I have figured ill join in winter or when it gets too hot out to enjoy moving outside. It's on the to do list. I LOVE working out at the gym but I don't enjoy being there when there are a lot of people there. "/ lol maybe I should call and see when they are least busy. Years ago I went at 5 am before work. LOVED IT. now that I'm a stay at home mom mornings aren't an option. planning the gym though, does motivate me. By the time im a little bored with home workouts ill have the gym. Then when winter is over ill have home workouts again. I hope I find a way to make it work!!

Sleeved May 15 and Regretting it
amytug replied to RainbowBrite26's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The first three weeks are the worst. After that, Things start looking up. And it goes very quickly. -
My husband was 260 last summer and held steady there for a good five years. He's always been heavier than me. I was 240 at my highest. Last fall he stopped eating Breakfast and lunch for four days a week. He's lost 65 lbs doing this and until i got surgery, he weighed less than me. He eats a massive dinner and Snacks on **** all night long. He loses about 2 lbs a week. Why? I know men lose faster and I know I don't want to pack all the unhealthy foods he eats into MY body. But it still upsets me. I'm working hard (and actually quite enjoying the ride bit still) and its slow going. It upsets me because it doesn't seem fair. I got my fat ass on a plane and flew to Cali. I jumped the border. I hauled my 234 lb naked simply butt (under the gown) onto an operating table. I'm the one with 20% of a stomach left. I got three blood clots, was in the hospital and am now on blood thinners. I'm working out 6 days a week at least. He eats huge bowls of ice cream that take him an hour to finish. And then goes back for more. 0.o. I just looked and he has EIGHT empty mother freaking assorted snack packages beside him. And this man is losing faster than me? Wtf? ...........………….............. Also. And I know this is terrible and I should see a psychiatrist, but. It's a HUGE turn off. "/ Ok, shoot me. I used to eat like this. How disgusting I must have looked shoveling package after package of addicting, fake food into my pie hole. Sigh Be my psychiatrist? I've started a post like this several times and every time I tell myself not to post And I delete it. But I need someone to talk to. I probably look really shallow. And my feelings are triple intensified by an incident I just had with my daughter and PMS.

Thank you for the encouragement and "been there done that" stories. I'm happy with my weight loss. Slow shmow, at least it's staying off this time. I've never been as sure of that as I am with my sleeve and that's a feeling I wouldn't trade for all the chez its in the world!! It's just annoying. MAYBE, just maybe there is a silver lining. I can thank god that I DON'T lose that way or maybe that's the route I'd be going. Eating poop all day long, feeling wiped out and tired, taking in a lot of caffeine to compensate and wondering why I'm tired. I'm thankful that I'm energized, loving exercise, feeling very good about myself and having a feeling of accomplishment. Cuz in EARNING mine!! I new to make him a lot of brownies or something. Imagine how much faster he would lose if he actually quit stuffing his face!!? Ill worry about his health and us being father/husband less after I'm at goal. Is that a good plan!? Lol

how to reset your metabolism with excersize and food?
amytug replied to leeann71's topic in Fitness & Exercise
Laura you could buy this DVD for $9 on amazon I believe and start there. There are 12 minute miles and 15. 5 different ones and you do whatever you want every day. It's how I started and I still do them. I can only finish about a mile and a half. I've been doing these DVDs off and on for 3 year -
I was getting those little "almost blackouts" until I started taking potassium 2 weeks ago. All gone.

What exactly is that? Heard of it. Thought it was a brand of bread crumbs.
