I AHVE 2.7 IN MY 4CC BAND. I WAS AT 1.5 UNTIL 9/6 AND HAD A APPT AND HE ADDED 1.2 AND I FELT OK TILL THIS MORNING TRIED TO EAT WATERY OATMEAL AND THOUGHT I WAS DYING AND STARED THROWING UP TILL THERE WAS NOTHING ELSE IN MY STOMACH AND I HAD ONLY EATEN 3 BITES.. SO I CALLED THE DOC AND I GO IN TOMMOROW AM TO GET A LITTLE IT TAKEN OUT. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE:faint:

yeah it all depends on Insurance. I fyou have Kaiser I fought with them for 8 months because they told me they don't cover the lap band so I finally switched to United healthcare and I was approved 2 days after 1 applied and surgery 1 month later...

my doctor tells me to come in whenever i feel that i need a fill and then he asks me how much am i eating and a whole bunch of questions to determine how much i need and he will ask me how much i want in. The team of Doctors here in Bakersfield, Ca are very good and really care about us patients.. At our monthly support groupd at the hospital all the surgeons show up to check on all of us also... But I am glad all of you are doing good:clap2:

I was banded 4/17/07 i have lost a total of 55lbs and hit a plateau around the middle of august so I am going in for a 3rd fill on the 11th of this month so I will try to keep my head up as well... But don't get discuraged i am told thid is very normal to plateau

oh i totally hear you - I have heard horror stories about rice and have not tried it yet... pizza I'm really scared - I myself have not had pbing or gotten sick or any side effects - one time I didnt chew very well and swalloed a piece of chicken that i didnt chew enough and that was the last time cause it hurt squeezing through the band - but besides that not problems... I miss sodas a little but dealing with in havent had one since march:p
