I have just had my lap band fitted and I can't believe in a way that I have done it!! Now the journey begins - apprehension and excitement all in one!! Will be checking out this forum to get inspiration and advice - good luck to everyone who had their surgery today! Would be lovely to share this journey :-)

Good luck with it - I found the day before a bit like a dream, was this all real? and also part of me was wanting to run screaming to the nearest McDonalds saying please don't do this!!! But I ignored that voice and got on with it and here I am now 1 day post op :-)

How did going back to work feel? Did you tell your colleagues? How are you doing now?

Hi I'm booked in for my operation on 5th May - getting nervous now but so glad I found this site and can share with others! Good luck to everyone and I look forward to chatting more :-)
