9 months out....slow loser
Muffin18 replied to Muffin18's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Baseballmom, I think I have finally broke my stall! For the past week I have been working out, sometimes twice a day making sure that I burn at least 700 or more calories. I'll go from treadmill to circuit to the elliptical to insanity!!! In addition I'm having a protein shake for breakfast and lunch and fish for dinner and a salad if I have room. Oh and I'm drinking way more water. I'm now down to 207 hoping to onederland very soon!!! Good luck hope this helps! -
I I had an appt with my NUT as we do to check in on eating. I asked how many calories I should be eating and she gave no no definite answer. I'm 9 months out and haven't gone over 900 calories. I have upped my excerise to 6 days a week and my water as well. Should I also increase my calories because I'm working out more? I've lost 60 lbs so far, a very slow loser. I didn't get a goal weight either but I have chosen 185 for myself as I'm 5'7 and I think that would be ok. Any and all suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance!!

Proudgranny I have at least 25-30 more to go for goal. I'm working out and drinking more than enough water. My nut told me I'm was eating enough carbs and to much protein. Guess I'll just keep going and see where I end up. And I'll try logging in from a computer to try and feelin more info dont see that on my iPad or iPhone

I'm wondering how many calories I should be getting a day this far out. My NUT had no definite answer. I'm a huge stalling and a slow loser. Anyone else this far out with any answer or suggestions?
-
I'm trying not to have a pity here be dang! I've been a slow loser from the beginning and have stalled several times for weeks at a time. Just frustrated! I have only lost 60 lbs IN 9 MONTHS. I see everyone else having such success. I'm giving it one more shot with working out and protein and water and all the right things, if nothing happens this time maybe this is the size I'm suppose to be.

I was sleeved in April and try not to stress about the scale but it is easier said than done. I just feel depressed a lot lately and frustrated with no weight loss. I don't want to think about food or calories or anything anymore
-
So I feel crazy have the time. I'm always thinking about food and planning a meal and calories and protein. I think the stress of all this is causing me to not lose weigh! Half the time I'm scared to eat. When I don't see change on the scale I get depressed and I am driving my husband crazy. I just to be normal again!????(fighting back tears)
