I'm psyched out its tuna fish and cracker day!!! I don't ever remember being this psyched about tuna fish before...guess that what happens when you lived on liquids for so long. Yesterday I had oatmeal and a little bit of bake potato. That went well...now hopefully this does! Meanwhile my family feast on Popeyes fried chicken

Hot dog!!! Got my fitbit in today!!! Can't wait to start using it tomorrow. Does anyone else have the scale that syncs to it? After my surgery two weeks ago, I bought a new scale. I regret that now. I would've loved to have the scale that "goes with" my fitbit. Fitbit name is Wolfgirl78 if anyone wants to be friends.

Well the Tuna agreed with me! Yay!!!!!! Now, I could only take about 4 bites of what's in that cup, mind you. At this time, it looks like that cup will last for many meals, lol I've been able to eat eggs, oatmeal, and bake potato so far, but not much. Still getting majority of my Protein through shakes.

Pre-sleeve I used to hardly ever weigh myself. 2 weeks in after sleeve, I weigh myself everyday. It has become an obsession. I'm hoping it tapers off

I'm hoping I'll be able still enjoy the tiniest bit of steak one day too. I've heard so many people on here cannot tolerate beef anymore. -
I stayed one night in hospital, went home the next day

Super Saturday Weigh In

I need to remember this on Saturday!!!! -
My name is Jill, I am 34 years old and married. I've been married since 10/31/2011 to my wonderful husband Dave. We got married on a cruise ship in new Orleans, it was fabulous! I have a 5 year old son, named Cole. He is truly the love of my life, my reason for being. Dave has three kids, ages 15,16,17. We have them full time. Their mother died about 6 years ago. She had RnY, became a drug addict and overdosed. So, including our three cats; Ortho, Lilly, and Godric we have a full house!!! I have a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. I have been a Probation and Parole Officer with the State of Louisiana for 10 years now. Right before I went out for my surgery I signed papers for my promotion to "Specialist", which just means I supervise violent offenders now instead of drug addicts and thieves. I got sleeved on June 12, 2012 by Dr. Keith Chung in Lake Charles, La. So far I'm doing really good in recovery. I also suffer from a food addiction and plan to take things one day at a time. I've battled my weight since my early 20s. I'm tired of being every ones fat friend. I'm changing my life So far from what I can tell there are a lot of nice and knowledgable people on this forum

You look amazing! Very inspiring! -
I also did the same thing pre-surgery.. Read all the stories about the leaks, PE's, clots etc. I scared myself silly. In the end, I just kept telling myself that the odds are low for complications. I made sure I followed Drs pre op instructions and am now following the post op instructions. Don't let the bad stuff freak you out, there are plenty more good stories
