I am! Started today, 5 day liquids... Headed to the beach tomorrow, told my family that I will not go near breakfast buffet and they have to go eat with out me... But honestly I think it's a better idea than sitting home avoiding the kitchen. Any tips on how to get through these 5 days??? What are you going to do? -

This may fall under TMI... But this all liquid pre op diet has made me constipated... I'm not quite sure how that happens... Having 3-4 premier protein shakes a day, 16 oz broth and some Jello.. At a hotel at the beach so haven't had any Popsicles. Surgery is tomorrow morning and wondering if I should take something to get this under control before anesthesia and pain meds make it worse?? Any thoughts?

Yes!!! Can't believe it.. Feels like so long ago I started this process... August 24 to be exact! KAH... Does clear liquids mean no Protein shakes? I'll be keeping you in my thoughts! @carolina... You are right around the corner, we'll keep ya posted! It's weird but ya all seem like my buddies now... I haven't told anyone other than hubby, kids so having people to talk to has been a life saver... Thank you so much!!!

Oh yes Carolina... I am waking up and so full of energy... I usually want to stay in bed and "rest" a little longer, always have a bit if a fog but since pre op diet I am waking up refreshed and ready to get going.... Love this feeling! Glad you are doing well too... Can't believe it's only 1 more day!

Yes.. Agree with Carolina, the new crystal lights are really good. The chicken broth is what fills me up the most, plus it's not sweet, getting tired of everything being sweet! I'm on day 4... Having surgery on the 29th. Funny thing is that last night I was so hungry and frustrated, woke up today, not hungry, no cravings.. Like magic overnight it got so much easier. So hang in there, it gets easier! Good luck, keep us posted!

How's everyone doing.... This sucks so so so bad!!! I swear time has slowed. It seems much worse at night... Still sticking 100% but so ready to throw in the towel, I won't but dang I want some food!!!!! I may never eat jello again! -

I have to be there at 6:30 for 8:30! Question for you all, my doc gives me the choice to stay the night or go home ( if everything is ok, no complications) I'm leaning towards staying, any advice or opinion on that first night? -

My surgery date is May 29... Right now that seems like an impossibly long time from now... Tomato Basil soup sounds so good! Honestly I never knew chicken broth could be my favorite meal of the day! -
