I thought I wouldn't be able to eat sweets ever again. I thought I would have issues with dumping/vomiting. I've had no problem with either.

You're not doing anything wrong. Your pouch is still healing. The nerves are not letting you feel full yet.

Don't be down, sweetie. This surgery does not mean you won't be able to eat the foods you loved before. I eat stuff I love. I just do it in GREAT MODERATION. I used to loved Wendy's double burger. If I have a taste for a burger now, I eat a jr burger with or without the bun. And it only happens like once a month if then. Don't get so caught up on what you can't have. I thought I would never eat candy, sugar, cake, cookies, fried food again. But I have and I had no problem. But I don't get out of hand when I indulge. It's all about having will power, know what your pouch can/can't handle, and knowing when to stop. I don't dump, so stop after one-three bites if I'm indulging.
