  2. It's polycystic ovarian syndrom. There's a lot of issues that come along with it. If you look it up your will find tons of information.
  3. I eat what i want in moderation.. but mainly stick to protein first. But if i don't allow myself to have some of the things i want, it will make me want it that much more. Eating bad was never a problem for me.. just eating to much. Having pcos really halted my weight loss, no matter how hard i tried.

    I had taco salad at 5 weeks.. with the chips. Went down great. And yes i was cleared for solid food then.

  6. Ohh gee aren't we all adults. Lt has a right to get defensive, everyone else has a right to feel how they want to. But everyone can argue back and forth and try to claim they have the most sensible answer but no one is going to change anyone elses mind or make them feel less defensive. It would make more sense for everyone to stop argueing over such a silly thing. Were all humans, we all take things that people say in the wrong way someone's, but were all supposed to be here to help each other out. If you found normality in a sip of coke, good, we all know how miserable the beginning of the journey is && a anything that helps is nice. Just make sure you don't push yourself, and learn good limits. Come on guys, lets all relax... we will live longer.

    Cla Supplement

    GNC's website has a deal going on.. buy two and get 50% off and the CLA is one of those things on there website.. I havent used it.. but it seems to have lots of good reviews.
  8. I had a root beer float the other day.. no problems with carbination or anything. I dont think pop occasionally will hurt.. all things in moderation.

    I upd my protein and started taking biotin.. it's starting to fall out a little less now, and hopefully will continue to get better.

  12. If they cover skin removal after wls? Do i just call them and ask? Or what do i say?
  13. Well i called BCBS and talked to a lady after i got the codes. The lady at the surgeons office said usually they cover Peniculectomy (sp) but not the TT. Well the lady at BCBS says my policy wont cover the Penne, but will cover the TT. And she said i didnt have to have any diognostic restrictions and if it was in district it would be payed 100%, if it was out of district i think i have a 300 dollar deductable. Also if it was an in patient procedure they had to call and get autherization first or something. Idk, kind of seems to good to be true, so im going to call back a few times and talk to other people to see if they say the same thing or if not what they say differently.
  14. My doctor told me before surgery she thinks bcbs mi will cover it, i just called and they said they need diognostic codes and procedure codes.. so now i have to figure out how to get those.
  15. I use soy milk and almond milk in mine. Love it.

    Protein Bars

    I think the calories are about 230 and the protein is about 18 per bar. I don't know the carbs though because I'm not really counting them. Sorry.

    2 cups of instant oats, 4 scoops of protein powder of your choice, half a cup of peanut butter. && add water to mixx it up to a sticky consistency. Spread it out and refrigerate for a few then cut into pieces.

    I just made my first batch of homemade protein bars! You can make them small and they are great.
  23. I'm 10 weeks and sometimes still don't get in all my protein. Keep working at it, you will get there.
