jaymzee replied to franfaith's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Frozen yogurt is really good, and a good alternative to ice cream. I actually sometimes make my own chocolate Protein frozen yogurt. Then i get an awesome treat that i can include as one of my protein meals & i feel so spoiled lol. -

i would hope that most of us know we should up our work out on days we have that extra treat. && maybe they are using there phone, not the computer. -
I have a whole stash of bars for when i need one on the go. I deff don't eat them so the time, but sometimes your on the go or whatever so you know. Anyways i buy individuals first to see what kinds i like. These first two i like are not a good protein to calorie ratio at all!! But they are good for occasions and as a treat. (Luna bars & cliff bars) soo yummy. These other two are my new recent favorite brands because they are pretty good protein to calorie ratio and ACTUALLY TASTE GOOD lol. ( Think thin protein bars & power crunch) try different flavores, so far I've liked all I've tried in these four brands. Still have more to try eventually.

I had a little oreo flurry from culvers today, i also enjoyed it! Every bite. everything in moderation. Some people drink coffee drinks with sugar and yummy calories everyday, some only some days. I think everyone deserves a treat! -
Hmmm i use a straw all the time. It really helps me get in my fluid. No pain or anything.

Lol i use un flavored in my pudding, soup, shakes, protein bars and cookies.. taste fine.. just don't mix it in water by itself. -
Anyone have some good ideas? I love chicken, just want to find new ways to cook it and things to marinate it in. Any ideas are welcome, even if they aren't for the crock pot i suppose lol.

jaymzee replied to jaymzee's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
I figured they wouldn't cover a tummy tuck, and would do the panni, but for some reason my insurance won't cover the panni but will do the tuck. Guess I'm just lucky. -
You should be fine, carbination in moderation. I had some at 7 weeks out, did great.

Has Anyone Not Experienced A Stall In The First 6 Weeks?
jaymzee replied to thesmilos's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am 12 weeks out tomorrow, and i haven't yet experienced a stall! There was one week i only lost one pound.. but each week the scale has continued to go down. -
My post op diet stages are... First week: Clear liquids. Second week: full liquids. Third week: pureed foods. Fourth and fifth week: soft foods. Do you think tofu would work for the soft food stage? Also has anyone had tuna and mayo blended for there pureed stage?
