I don't have that problem anymore I told him it made he feel bad so he eats now and I just eat with them, my food is just little different. Last week a girl i work with and I were talking about people watching us eat! It makes us nervous. And if we eat something like the chicken that didnt go down right people ask, of coarse out of love, are you okay? Are you choking? or they stop eating with us!

Daisy don't get down on yourself. Just stick to the plan and maybe write down what you are eating and bring with you to the dr. and they can give you suggestions

I think drinking enough and keeping your mind occupied helps a lot. If I'm at home on my day off with not a lot going on I want to eat and food that counts helps too I still drink a protein shake

O Daisy I get like that too! I just am hungry. Lol I seem to get like that when I'm bored so I try and keep myself busy and forget about it or drink some water. Sometimes it helps me and sometimes it does not. I hear this is the worst part until our first fill.

Daisy I am drink the G2 not the regular. My doctor allows 1 6oz glass of fruit juice a day but it has to be 3oz juice 3oz Water I'm not a big fruit drinker though so I'm really not sure how that would taste. On a great note I finally lost 3 pounds!!!! I am sooo excited to get off the number I plateaued at! I got off and back on the scale to make sure it was right???ƒ! Okay okay I did it more than one more time I wanted to make sure the scale was not lying to me! ☺ I'm working A double today so I'm going to post this am if that is alright. I planned and packed my meals for the day. Breakfast: creamy oatmeal Lunch: shakeology Protein Shake and yoplait yogurt light fat free snack if needed yoplait fat free light yogurt Dinner: left overs 1/2c whole wheat Pasta 1/2c low fat cottage cheese

Sorry Md I tried to reply on my lunch today but it just kept saying sending and never went through. Some nights I'm not going to be on here til later. After I get off of work it seems like me and Adam (my husband) start our second job with our 3 boys. Until we lay them down and now it is summer so later bed time!!! LOL But Md I wouldnt push myself to hard in your first month to month in half. I pushed to hard in the first week and one of my incisions came back open (it was fine) but I could of put my journey on hold if I didn't wise up and follow dr orders. I'm not a very patient person. Maybe go to gym and go until you start hurting then I would either yak a break or walk on treadmill until it stopped hurting then go back to your previous work out. You don't want to push to much and delay your journey! Breakfast: Creamy oatmeal Lunch: Shakeology Protein Shake dinner 1/2c whole wheat Pasta 1/2 low fat cottage cheese 1/4-1/2 green Beans Water about 4 8oz bottles. Gatorade 16oz I always have a drink in my hand that seems to be one of the hardest parts for myself to be more cautious of drinking slowly. I have always been someone that drinks a lot water, tea, diet 7up, Gatorade anything and now I have to be more cautious of drinking slow and not just downing it!

Good Afternoon!!! I went to my dr last Thursday and they said Everything looked great! I was happy to hear that. Then they asked if I had hit a plateau yet in my weight and that it would happen more than likely before my first fill... And it happened grrr! I was wondering if anyone else has hit a plateau yet and if so how are you staying on track I get frustrated not seeing the scale go down as it was.
-
I did that too. Lost a 11 pounds before surgery and 3 after but havnt really lost anything after! I was kind of nervous but I went to the dr last Thursday and they said it was normal and I would plateau. That I had to watch because sooner or later I would start become hungry and I needed to keep what I eat under control and follow diet so I didn't regain

WooHoo Daisy!! Glad that your doing well after surgery!!!

Good Afternoon I had my surgery this morning around 9a. It was a little scary at first because I thought am I doing the right thing? But I think those feelings just came from nerves of the surgery because as soon as it was over I was fine and happy I did it! I woke up with very little pain from the surgery ( pain meds they had me on I figure). They had me taking sips of water out of a little medicine cups about every fifteen minutes and which made my throat feel so good. The doctor came in and told my husband to make me take it easy but to get up and walk around from time to time to avoid blood clots. Adam (my husband) said its going to be hard to make her take it easy) but I am. I did take a good nap and I feel even better! I'm still sipping water for the rest of the day then tomorrow I am on clear liquids. Right now I have to say the nerves of the surgery were the worst part! My total day at the hospital was about 5 hours. Not bad at all for a tool to help me change my life for the better!

I will double check with him tomorrow and see about straw

Thank you! The hardest part is relaxing but I have quickly learned my lesson! Lol. I really have not had any gas pain a lot of burping though. I can kind of feel a gurgle and then an air bubble come up and burp. I'm use to at home just belting them out (not very lady like I know) but even when we are out in public it just comes. I think it has helped the gas pain to get up and move and to have my back on a heating pad. This morning a had a little pain in my shoulder I got up and moved around a bit then sat on heating pad and it went away. nothing too bad. The walking is suppose to be just to the bathroom and back to couch I pushed it too much. The next day a little more So please don't over do it it was not smart on my part. My eating I pay attention to because in afraid of getting sick. My diet is full liquids for 2 weeks yesterday I had a can of broth for lunch and it went fine. Then I tried broth for dinner and I could only eat half a can so I didn't push it. I always Carry a drink with me with a straw so I don't gulp it down and that seems to be working to get all my liquids in. I still wouldn't change my mind about doing it and glad I didn't back out. I am a little sore from surgery but nothing not manageable. When is your surgery coming?

The hardest part is the relaxing for me! But quickly learne my lesson. I have been burping a lot but not a whole lot of gas pain in my shoulde. But I have also been Laying on a heating pad
