I was told one week

I initially took a week off and then decided there was no way I could have went back so soon. I have an office job and decided to do my STD and take a month off!

I had surgery on Sept 10th and it was with the sleeve! I have two incisions: my belly button and one under my left breast. My surgeon was the first one to use the device in Fl so I felt good about it. I haven't had a lot of pain or itching and they look okay so far

Buying clothes from any store I choose Keeping up with my sons workout No longer feeling like a hostage to food Having energy Feeling attractive again

Hello all! I wanted to share my first NSV with everyone... I have been suffering with high blood pressure for nearly 12 years. I am 1 week post-op today and I no longer have high blood pressure! Just so you can understand my excitement I was on 3 blood pressure pills a day for a year. Prior to that I was on 4 blood pressure pills daily...... I am shedding tears of joy because for the past week my blood pressure has been normal without medication... Prior to surgery after medication my blood pressure was never normal.... Thank God for my sleeve and I am so glad I decided to have the sleeve done.. I know I have a long way to go but so far I would say I am off to an awesome start!! Hello Sunsetblvd. Thanks for your response and the first day was the worst for me because of being nauseous. I was not in a lot of pain afterwards. I was having all sorts of emotions prior to surgery so what you are feeling is completely normal. You will do fine just be mentally ready for your sleeve. It was literally like a light switch for me... I have absolutely no hunger now at all!!

Hello everyone I was sleeved on yesterday!! I am now sitting on the losers bench. The first 24 hours were hard but because of the information I have read on the forum I kind of knew what to expect. Now one day post op I am up walking every hour doing leg exercises and breathing in the spirometer. I know that this decision was the best thing I could have ever done for myself. My doctor had to repair two hernias before he could do the procedure on yesterday. I also was able to have the spider technique which means 2 incisions: one in my belly button and the other under my breast. I am sending prayers to anyone else who had the procedure on yesterday....
