  1. Yes, It is visible from the outside. I thought that maybe a dilation would just push everything else out so that the upper abdomen stuck out farther. I've been over-weight for a long time and I've never had this issue before.
  2. I was banded in June 2008. To this day, I have only lost 30 pounds. I have been going up and down with the same 10 lbs now for the last year-and-a-half. I know why. I drink when I eat, and I drink a lot of soda. My concern right now is that my upper stomach is a lot larger than my lower stomach. Could this be a pouch dialation? I don't have any pain or heartburn, so I don't think it's a slippage. If it is just a dialation, can it go back down with just a change in eating habbits? I am too embarassed to go to my doctor. I haven't seen him in over two years and I don't want him to know that I haven't lost any weight. Does anyone out there have any advice, or ever experience something like this?
