Overall the experience was fine. I didnt have any complications other than needing antibiotics for a few extra days according to my primary care physician. The clinic / hospital is small, the staff is very attentive and helpful. They clean all the time and other than having to wait your turn for surgery in a tiny area things went as expected.
Its a personal decision for everyone. I was scared and read all I could but did it anyway because I dont have insurance and it was the only option for me. My family was against it, but it turned out okay.
My surgery was in May and with my low BMI loosing is very difficult. Im very frustrated that Im not loosing as I expected, but grateful that I did stop gaining. I am very restricted but I am hungry all the time, just cant eat.
