Where Are My April 2012 Sleevers?
Sleeve & Lean replied to JimmyGotSLEEVED's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Sleeved on 4/16 - went back to work the next week...everything going pretty good, except I seem to be having some gall bladder issues. That is bringing on quite a bit of pain. Doing walking for exercise... can't wait for the all-clear to get back to doing boot camp. Hope all went right for yours! -
9 Days Postop And Laying Around
Sleeve & Lean replied to Joni's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes...definitely better to get moving...get dressed, put makeup on...get out of the house...walk the mall if you have to. They usually have benches scattered around. It will definitely help everything heal better. -
Hey Willowsknot - I don;t know if it would help, buy I take Isotonix Multi and B-Complex. It is a powder you mix in 2oz of water and drink on empty stomach. I am 14 days out and other than some gall bladder issues popping up don't seem to have the fatigue or any hair loss so far. They seem to absorb much better than a pill. Have a pleasant citrus flavor.

I am struggling with staying on shakes for whole month. Need something spicy and warm. I am 12 days out from surgery, no nausea, no fever, walking good... just really not liking the chalky shakes (I have added fruit and whatever). I really haven't had any issues 3-4 oz down at a time, although it does feel like it gets stuck just under my bra line...like I really have to burp.

That is so awesome! I know how you feel about feeling like you are taking up less space. My mom looked at me the other day and said your nose is getting thin. I was like...i didn't know you could lose weight in your nose! Anyway congratulation! -

When Did You Buy New Clothes?
Sleeve & Lean replied to cuteascanbelizzie's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I went to a Thrift Store and got some basic pants and tops in various sizes to kind of tide me over. A lot cheaper than buying new clothes that I am going to shrink out of in a few months! -

Trouble Swallowing - 6 Days Post-Op
Sleeve & Lean posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had my sleeve on April 16, and I still feel like there is a vapor lock when I swallow anything...like a big bubble blocking whatever I am swallowing. Anyone have any ideas?
